The Pézenas - Nizas aerodrome (ICAO code: LFNP) was a civil aerodrome, approved for use
restricted1, located in the town of Nizas 3.9 km north-north-west of Pézenas in the Hérault
(Languedoc-Roussillon region, France). The airfield closed on November 1, 2013.
It was used for the practice of leisure and tourism activities (light aviation and helicopter).

The basaltic plateau of Caux-Nizas on which the aerodrome was installed has been classified as an area
nature of ecological, faunal and floristic interest in 2010.
The aerodrome closed permanently on October 31, 2013.

The decree of April 17, 2014 closing the Pézenas-Nizas aerodrome is signed and assigned to the
directorate general of civil aviation, thus repealing the "aerodrome" status of the land.
The airfield had a grass runway oriented east-west (11/29), 705 meters long and 60 wide.
The aerodrome was not controlled. Communications are carried out in self-information on the
frequency of 123.500 MHz.

L’aérodrome de Pézenas - Nizas (code OACI : LFNP) était un aérodrome civil, agréé à usage
restreint1, situé sur la commune de Nizas à 3,9 km au nord-nord-ouest de Pézenas dans l’Hérault 
(région Languedoc-Roussillon, France). L’aérodrome a fermé le 1er novembre 2013.
Il était utilisé pour la pratique d’activités de loisirs et de tourisme (aviation légère et hélicoptère).

Le plateau basaltique de Caux-Nizas sur lequel était installé l'aérodrome a été classé en zone
naturelle d'intérêt écologique, faunistique et floristique en 2010.
L'aérodrome ferme définitivement le 31 octobre 2013.

L'arrêté du 17 avril 2014 portant fermeture de l'aérodrome de Pézenas-Nizas est signé et assigné à la
direction générale de l'aviation civile, abrogeant ainsi le statut "aérodrome" du terrain.
L’aérodrome disposait d’une piste en herbe orientée est-ouest (11/29), longue de 705 mètres et large de 60.
L’aérodrome n’était pas contrôlé. Les communications s’effectuent en auto-information sur la
fréquence de 123,500 MHz.

une aire de stationnement,
des hangars.
