PLEASE NOTE: This update is only intended for MSFS 2024 users. It is not required if using MSFS 2020. - Removed a set of Asobo Library rock formations which were missing textures and displaying as pink. This is due to a GUID conflict between MSFS 2020 & MSFS 2024.

- Improvements to the terrain priority along the Zambezi River Gorge. This is to help with a bug which caused scenery objects to float before snapping into position after some time. - Increased the draw distance of Victoria Falls mist. The mist can now be seen from all ends of the scenery. - Additional Victoria Falls waterfall rumble sound added with a 10km range. - Improvements to the the rocks and water at the main falls. - Added Fauna POI's for all of the animal locations situated around the scenery. - Added custom Electric Sub-Stations and Power Pylons - Fixed a bug which caused the Bungee Jumper rope to disappear in drone mode towards the end of his fall.

v1.3 - Added windsocks to the River Rapids helipads with name & logos - Reduced the scaling of some of the river rapid helipads. - Fixed waterfall sounds - Added more rock details to the Zambezi River gorge. This also helps to fix the coloured texture anomalies in the water. - Added more wildlife to the scene - Fixes an issue for some users who are still experiencing a white texture tile next to the Falls. This was due to the way the sim prioritizes scenery packages.

Great package but there are some texturing issues on the rocks near the bridge in MSFS2024. Tried to report it to the developer with no response. Looks like the developer abandoned the product

Hello, This issue with the missing textures has been resolved in the latest update - version 1.5. This particular rock face is an Asobo Library asset which had a conflicting GUID & naming conventions between MSFS 2020 & MSFS 2024 which was causing this issue.

I try to find add-ons detailling places I have been to, and I loved the aerial view of the Falls. We flew into Vic Fall airport, and we took a helicopter flight over the Falls. So I am excited to see this add-on recreates the beautiful views around here. Special details I like: The train station, the line of trucks waiting to cross the border on both sides of the bridge, and the nice modelling of the foaming river downstream of the falls.

There is so much here to explore, and the level of detail is really fantastic. A LOT of effort and time obviously went into this. It's also very popular; I haven't been there once without company. Brilliant for a slow 'n' low or a helichopster, or even park up nearby and get around with the drone. You'll be here for a long time, so if you are easily absorbed, set a timer for 30 minutes. I reckon it will still take you by surprise! The animals are brilliant.

Your mod was so impressive, I raved about it to my gf who ended up going there on my recommendation. I was disappointed to hear that you cannot actually fly into the canyon as it's always misty there and is dangerous because of the low visibility. But it is interesting that your mod second hand inspired someone to go visit the actual location.

The falls are great but I wish you spent more time to more accurately model all the stunning lodges along the river. Take Victoria Falls Safari Lodge for example. One of the most iconic, stunning lodges in the area but no attempt seem to have been made on any of it. Pity. Hopefully the scenery will be updated in future versions.

Absolutely no hesitation in awarding this one 5 stars. If you love flying narrow canyons in a helo (Toag's new Lama anyone) you really can't pass this update by. So much to explore and so many helipads to discover. Lots of nice touches, like the bungy jumper, the powerglider, the zodiak (with accompanying sound effects), a sign telling you the history of the bridge, etc. and even the guys pushing the Robinson into the shed, nice touch :) Dial in some nice weather at twilight or dawn - Helicopter paradise! (nb: I fly in VR with a G2)

Brilliant scenery. I can’t stop getting in a helicopter, taking off from Elephant Hills, and blasting over the falls, under the bridge and down the canyon at full speed a couple of metres above the water in VR. And then back again. The detail and animations are astounding. Best scenery out there for pure exhilaration. Thank you.

Well, the previous reviews sum this masterpiece up really and I am not sure what more I can add. What an amazing piece of scenery, I have never flown anyway like here in any previous renditions of any simulator. It is truly breathtaking, especially in a helicopter. In VR you can actually feel like you are there and I must admit I was overwhelmed byt it all. This is a must get scenery.

It's quite rare that I find a product good enough for me to feel inclined to provide a review. However, those times do crop up now and then. Jeppeson2001 have delivered an outstanding scenery package for MSFS.... PROS : The scenery is generally of a very high quality, the rocky outcrops towering above the river look fantastic. There are so many nice little touches to the package, the Bungee Jumper, the boats in the river, animate characters dotted around, the microlight etc. The whole scenery has been finished and feels alive with activity. For those of us who really like flying helicopter this scenery package is highly recommended - lots of helipads dotted around. Water flow animations at the fall an in the river with the rumble of flowing water really add the extra element missing from default scenery. CONS (yes I am being picky here)... Frames do drop a little around the falls - I use VR so any drop in performance is noticeable. The misting (which may be causing some of the performance loss) looks good and I imagine realistic, it does tend to obscure the falls a little too much - perhaps if this were subtly toned down this would help both?? Crash boxes around *some* objects (trees) seem to be a little too large causing the sim to kill the virtual me and destroy my helicopter stating I had collided with objects that I was comfortably clear of. Sorry - I did not note exactly where in the scenery this occurred. Summary If you like bush flying and/or helicopters and are at all on the fence above this scenery - just get it, it is worth it. To the devs - cracking work, any plans to give Niagra a similar make-over? :)

Lol. I was about to add the exact same review. Spot on. I am pushing my VR with a 2070 super and have the same issues over the falls. I assume it is because I am riding the edge of the performance envelope but wanted to mention it just in case there is anything that can be done on the dev side. That being said the river run alone is worth the $ for me and I have no performance issues with that part of the scenery. VERY well done.

Worth every penny. The animated falls are spectacular. I did have some LOD pop-in on my system, but I think that's a "me" issue and not a scenery issue. The animations on the very top of the falls appear to sometimes hover over the scenery by a small amount, too. Again, not sure if that's an issue with my LOD settings or not... Minor caveats, though -- overall, this is a great scenery add-on.

I just got this and its fantastic. The screen shots don't really do it justice, this is a truly epic bit of scenery for the sim. I'm sure some people will look at the price and think its quite expensive for what it appears to be but take it from me its huge and so much work and attention to detail has gone into it. The animated waterfalls and rapids look fantastic and the whole thing is especially good in VR. The only thing that needs a bit of love is the area around where the Zesco hydo electric project is. Its kind of jarring that that bit isn't hand crafted where most of the rest of the area is. Anyway, its definitely one of the best scenery add ons I've bought for the sim. I really wish scenery creators would concentrate on doing this sort of scenery rather than endlessly do cities. Landscape features are so much more interesting to explore. I'd pay good money for a similar add on that models the whole of Yosemite Valley with all the waterfalls animated.

Great scenery, Batoka airstrip is as i remember it, when i took the microlight flight over the victoria falls, and the bungee jump of the falls bridge was a great thrill, all in all fantastic scenery
