Ryan Navion B - North American's post war boom of civilian aircraft introduced the Ryan Navion and many variants were soon to follow. The Ryan Navion B was the 3rd installment of the Navions and have been flown throughout history. The 2nd aircraft(payware) for Hangar Studios 713 includes the Ryan Navion B A.K.A. Ryan Navion Super 260. It has a 260 HP Continental IO-520 fuel injected engine. I've also included the Battery/ELT, multiple gas tank checks, hydraulic reservoir and oil dipstick animations plus cargo options and many more - Its all there for you to look at in MSFS 2020 and simulate a pre-flight checklist!

The Navion B includes the following:

Up to 8K resolution PBR textures
3D modeled with over 2 Million Polygons modeled after a real Navion B with multiple real aviation pilots/owners input/testing
10 Highly detailed liveries 4 of which are exactly from real Navions
All clickables are animated and operational
Detailed checklist with 16 categories and 128 checks both through the simulators checklist drop down and in-sim tablet page (For reference)
Included Manual in the aircrafts documentation file
Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD) as well as new Propeller animations with a proper side blur
Reference speeds included in checklist(tablet), and above the airspeed indicator(placard)
Tablet included with airplane diagram and directory of all usable clickables(Tablet functions them as well)
Custom Instrument camera views for doing the preflight walk around and interaction with clickables
Experimental Instrument Hood - To help learn to fly IFR
Custom Lighting FX/ Windshield FX/ Startup Smoke FX

My dad's solo flight was in one of these, so I had to get it. Maybe I should have bought it in the marketplace since the EFB doesn't work on this download. An update would be great to fix this issue and then I would be more than happy to give you five stars.

Such a great little plane honestly. It flies very stably and is really easy to trim, unlike a lot of MSFS aircraft. It feels like it has some realistic feeling to it, just in terms of not being too quick/snappy/easy - you can really feel it interacting with the air. Graphically, the interior is really nice. The dash/gauge textures particularly stand out as very good. The exterior is well modelled too, though if I was being picky the texture could maybe be a bit more detailed, it seems clean and shiny in some areas. But really, it's better than many. The EFB and interactable areas are great to see - there's a lot of little animated bits around the plane and some small customisation options. Some of these are lacking specific purpose other than roleplay value but I'd much rather have them than not. Also LOVE having the checklists on screen in the game world and not just via the MSFS UI. For under £10, the feature set you get with this is well above par. The flight model is well tuned; graphically it's up there with some more expensive options; you have numerous little things to customise/interact with on the EFB and all the options you expect of more expensive mods - numerous GPS options, circuit breakers modelled etc. For the price, it's a no brainer to get it. Everyone should have it.

I have flown the Navion for 7 hours now. I love the panel. It has performed very well and I will continue to fly this Airplane and continue to get even more proficient . I have found it does go into a spin to the left too easily especially after taking it out of auto Pilot mode in slow flight. I have spun 3 times into the ground not being able to recover no matter what altitude. It must be me. Maybe. I will write another review when I figure out the issue. Great Modeling. Thanks for the great work. Addintional Review: I now have over 20 hours int Navion and have found this my plane of choice. More to learn yet using the auto Pilot. It has caused me to spin several times without recovering. The auto pilot requires a good understanding of using the up and down keys to correctly descend and climb then use manual trim as this is a altitude pressure hold system I believe.

The Ryan Navion is a really good GA aircraft and this version in MSFS is excellent. I really enjoy flying around in it VFR and the ability to practise old school IFR with the steam gauges adds to the appeal of this aircraft. I totally recommend this and am sure that others will love the handling characteristics and the love of flying it around!
