The Martison Lake Outpost is a remote camp located on Martison Lake in the wilds of Ontario, fifty miles north of the town of Hearst. The camp is maintained by Hearst Air Service as a fly-in destination for anglers seeking a wilderness experience. The cabin is the only structure located on the lake, so that visitors have the entire lake to themselves.
Martison Lake is fairly large, at about nine miles long by 2 miles wide, but is very shallow, only reaching seven feet at its deepest. Some determination will turn up both walleye and trophy pike. Trolling is especially effective here. Anglers should also check out the two creeks entering the lake near the cabin.
This scenery consists of the cabin, a float plane dock, picnic table, and fire pit. There is a fishing boat with outboard motor, a rowboat, and two canoes. The scenery can be used alone, or with my implementation of CNX3, Carey Lake Airport, the home base for Hearst Air Services (download here.) You can load up your Beaver at Carey Lake and fly a group of anglers out to the Martison cabin for a wonderful fishing adventure! If you get tired of fishing here, try the Hearst Air Services cabin at Hillmer Lake (download here.)
There are no designated water runways at the lake; you can pick a landing direction depending on the winds and weather conditions. I have added a point of interest (POI) for “Martison Lake Outpost Camp.” You can find this in the World Map and designate it as the destination. If you have POIs visible in the sim, you will see the indicator pop up as you approach.

To see the float plane dock you will need to download the Seaplane Asset Library from flightsim.to and place it in your community folder. Many thanks to 30West for providing this great library!
