Heeresfliegerbattalion (HFlgBtl) 8 (Germany).

Homebase: Oberschleißheim.

This painting of the Bell UH-1D of the German Air Force was completely in the color RAL 6014 (gelbolive)
until the beginning of the 1980s and was later provided with a comouflage design.

Identifiers during the operating time at the German Army (HEER) : Serial-Nr. 8470.
Code:  73+50     operated by:    HFlgBtl 8  -->   HFlgRgt 20 --> HFlgRgt 6--> in 1999 preserved at LTG 61.

Comments which must be noted:

1.  This repaint is freeware and may not be used for commercial purposes.

2.  The two bulges on the nose of the cockpit, whatever they are for, which is unintentional but probably model related.

3.  The cooling fins of the rotor head area are vertical on the Original Bell UH-1D; arranged horizontally instead of
      horizontally as in this model.
