    • Ikebukuro Station
    • Sunshine City

I love your method for doing cities, adding only the notable buildings and leaving the conventional ones to default. It makes the cities look great while not killing FPS. Good work!

Are there any conflicts with the payware Samscenery for Tokyo?

I do not know. Try it, if there is, remove it.

Looks good so I guess there is no conflict. Cheers!

Totally agree. I am planning on improving that lighting technique. This was just a first shot

are they static or do they blink as they do in real life? Always gorgeous to see when I lived in Nagoya and also when I visited Tokyo.

I think they are static at 50m point, then flashing each 50m from 100m up to the top

Thank you. I'll give it a go. Cheers!

    This is lovely!

Now, I have a question. Is there a way for this to completely overwrite another add-on?

There's a payware add-on that adds a lot of buildings all around Tokyo and updates a lot of outdated ones, and also includes some buildings in Ikebukuro.

My issue is that your version of Ikebukuro is better, so I'd like to use it as well, but I find myself with duplicated buildings.

    Any suggestion?

That's a tough one. I cannot think if a way around that. Is this payware scenery better then the MS Tokyo update?

It's made to add on top of it, so it works very well, with no conflicts.

I guess there has to be a way to exclude what's under your scenery since their hand-made Tokyo Tower replaces Asobo's. Unfortunately, I have no idea of how it's done.

The SDK allows you to hide stock MS buildings, vegitation, textures, etc... but there is no option to hide 3rd party scenery unfortunately.

Thanks FreakyD for creating this much needed addition to Tokyo!
