This pack consists of 11 airports, airstrips, and airfields in Western New Guinea (Papua, Indonesia). I have done my best to remain mostly faithful to the real world layouts of these airports, while also adding a few touches such as runway marker cones and gables, missing buildings, vehicles, and other decorative objects. If you wish to see flags and windsocks at these airports you will need to download Windy Things.
Airports included:
- WAJC
- WADC
- WAOG
- WAVC
- WANM
- WADJ
- WABJ
- WACY
- WAOA
- WACF
- WACV

Thank you to colinj for sharing your various objects and assets.

Awesome pack, thank you very much! If there is one more airstrip that would be great to have it is Okhika WA0P. Check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLssOaXh9B4

Thanks for this beautiful pack! Just a question: are WAVG and WAOG the same airport? Which one should I keep? Thanks again!!!

WAVG and WAOG are different airports. If you already have an older version of this pack you can delete WAVG and grab the new standalone version here: https://flightsim.to/file/27312/wavg-karubaga-airport

Thanks for all the work again! Just to be sure: is WAVG the only strip that needs to be manually removed? So can the other ones be overwritten by the new files without first removing the old ones?

Yes, that's correct. WAVG can be overwritten or deleted and replaced, either way will work.

Love the pack of 12 airports of Papua. One of my favorites is WX53 Bugalaga with it's stepped strip and great village atmosphere. I think it was from your download but it is not listed here and I can't see it separately

...isn't that default Asobo?

Hello TBM940,
Could you please explain where the directories "Bush-Divers-Flags-TSR-Windy-Things" and "Bush-Divers-Flags" have to be placed.
I am a bit confused, since I assumed that all objectlibraries need to be put seperately in the Community folder.
I have already a library named "tsr-windy-things" in de community folder.
Must in addition the folders "Bush-Divers-Flags-TSR-Windy-Things" and "Bush-Divers-Flags" be put inside your "Western New Guinea (Papua) Airports" directory?
Hope you can give a kind of schematic reply 😊
Thanks in advance.

Both "Bush-Divers-Flags-TSR-Windy-Things" and "Bush-Divers-Flags" contain the same flags, though one is a slightly older version from before I changed the naming scheme. Just choose one of them and drop it in your community folder where you would place the other airports (Having both installed won't cause any issues. The contents are identical). You'll still need the main TSR-Windy-Things library, as that is the core mod and my flags are simply custom textures for that library.

Can't beat those challenging airstrips in Papua! Very well done.

It doesn't appear to be downloading a file for me?
rkuruzar
Just FYI. It downloaded for me. Do you have a second browser to try?
Love the work! This makes setting up Papua SOOO much easier.
