This airport project was initiated in May 2024 and completed in September 2024. It is my first true commercial airport project. The airport is based on my own real-world photography and publicly available online materials (excluding any military content). All work was done solely by myself.

Features:

• A fully modeled terminal building based on real photographs, nearly identical to the real one.
• Extensive use of Chinese signage and fonts throughout the airport interior and exterior.
• Fully custom runway centerline lights, edge lights, taxiway edge lights, and approach lighting systems, all featuring dynamic lighting.
• Highly detailed ground markings and PBR ground textures.
• Handcrafted cityscape of Mudanjiang, including red obstruction lights restored on several high-rise buildings.
• The total polygon count of all models within the airport is kept under 150,000, with most models utilizing LOD technology to ensure optimal frame rate performance.
• This is a public airport. You can find the charts online and use SimBrief to plan your flights.
