Welcome to Project Coastline Italy v3.0.8 (work in progress).
THIS ADD-ON IS 100% COMPATIBLE WITH THE WORLD UPDATE 9
Explore over 400km/250mi of enhanced Italian coastline, for hours of VFR fun. Rocks, cliffs, boats, yachts, docks, harbors, marinas, palms, working lighthouses, moving harbor crane lifts, parasols, night lights, animals, and more have been added to improve the overall quality of the coast, which by default is flat and dull. Landmarks have been added to the world map so you can easily plan your trip.
The add-on includes so far:
- The whole Tuscany region improved with rocks, marinas, harbors, boats, etc.
- The commercial harbors of Genova, La Spezia, and Savona-Vado (Liguria).
- The commercial harbors of Cagliari, Olbia, Porto Torres, La Maddalena (Sardegna)
- The commercial harbors of Gioia Tauro, Reggio Calabria (Calabria)
- The commercial harbor of Catania, faraglioni di Aci Trezza, Palermo, Messina, Gela (Sicily)
- The commercial harbor of Civitavecchia, Olbia and Fiumicino, Ponza Island, Bolsena's lake(Lazio)
- The commercial harbor of Trieste (Friuli-Venezia-Giulia)
- Venezia (Veneto)
- The commercial harbor of Bari, Taranto, and Brindisi (Puglia)
- The commercial harbor of Ravenna (Emilia-Romagna)
- The commercial harbor of Naples and Salerno(Campania)
- The commercial harbor of Ancona and Pescara (Marche - Abruzzo)
- Astronimical Observatories
- Boats have been added to the whole Italian coast and lakes.
- An optional freeware version of the Grosseto Military Airport LIRS (USAF planes are present just for eye candy).
- Heavy vegetation fix along the coast
- Two newly furnished Villas, one in La Maddalena and one in Ischia
- This mod is fully compatible with the freeware Livorno, Genova, Messina, Cagliari, and Olbia, Trieste (both freeware and Orbx payware) add-ons.
- FPS-friendly and VR-ready.
Suggestion: For a better experience, fly whatever amphibious plane you have.

In this update, the coastal cities of Ventimiglia, Bordighera, San Remo, Monfalcone, Marina di Policoro, Crotone, Marina di Ragusa, and Trapani have been improved. Furthermore, the runway at the villa in La Maddalena has been expanded and now has the ICAO code: VLLM.
- added collision material to the 2 new villas allowing you to walk inside both in 3rd person mode -removed the rocks from Capo Gallo and Montagna Longa
-Replaced all the cruise and cargo ships -Added two newly furnished Villas, one in La Maddalena and one in Ischia -Added a fully furnished yacht scattered along the coast
The excessive vegetation along the whole coast has been removed

The amount of scenery that has been added to the Italian Coastline is awesome. This is a very immersive scenery ad-on. What's also great is the developers keep adding more scenery updates at no extra cost! I can't thank the developers enough for this great scenery add on for MSFS24. This is one of my top 5 scenery add-ons!

One of my favourite Addons! Great! An idea for another project? Amazonas River, Kongo River, Rio Negro, and many more of the big rivers on earth need an upgrade - waterfixes, coastlines, harbours and shipping (MSFS2020, with MSFS2024 i have no exp.) I would appreciate and pay for addons to give us a better experience in VFR-Flights! Best regards!

Worth getting just for what it did for Genoa, many thanks to Thalixte for his awesome PG. Just so you know, the download will tell you to get the required freeware (1 addon to download). PS, nightlighting is really nice. It covers so much Italion coastline. Been wanting it for ever but finally got around to it. Really good bang for the buck if you enjoy sightseeing !

What a shame I didn't know about this outstanding add-on when I did my Italian tour just a week or so ago. I like all the boats cranes etc but particularly love the rock work. What a difference it makes! Purchased it anyway and will have to do a coastal tour soon.

Fantastico. this is by far the best scenery add on pack ive seen so far in msfs.. the ports and coastal rocks are spot on, many of the large ferries/boats can be landed on ( not all, so be wary) the lighthouses are awesome..there's no hit on fps whatsoever and it runs beautifully in vr on a i7 10,700 and 3070 with 32gb ram.. thank you.
