Gibraltar Airport (LXGB), is an international airport opened in 1939, it is the main airport in Gibraltar, In 2017, the airport handled 571,184 passengers and 302,094 kg of cargo on 4,888 total flights. Winston Churchill Avenue (the main road heading towards the land border with Spain) intersects the airport runway, and consequently has to be closed every time a plane lands or departs.
RDPresets have created a very highly detail version of Gibraltar International Airport and the surrounding area with all of the latest technologies when it comes to 3D modelling and scenery development. The History Channel program Most Extreme Airports ranked the airport the fifth most extreme airport in the world. It is exposed to strong cross winds around the rock and across the Bay of Gibraltar, making landings in winter particularly challenging.

Really happy with this purchase so far! airport feels alive due to the huge area around the airport being included and the immense amount of props everywhere. Been to the airport in real life for a trip last year and it just feels like being back, impressive. Strobe light on/off is used for the cars crossing the round which works well and the PBR textures on the airside look awesome compared to a default ground poly! Would highly recommend picking this one up. Not to mention the cool approach you get to fly into the airport which is awesome.

Is there a reason why each side of the runway are raised?, as in. the runway seems to be "sunk" a fair bit?. Okay so... Minimum Game Version? The manifest tells me this... "minimum_game_version": "1.31.18", Yet i have the latest of 1.30.12.0? Does this have something to do with it? Was this created with the Beta SU12? If so? This is not compatible with the current stable FS2020 Release. I have had to temporarily remove the Asobo LXGB for this to display correctly without sunken runway, to have the flat runway as intended, as a quick fix for this. *Update* Having read the PDF format now, within the downloaded Zip, It does state to disable the Handcrafted Asobo LXGB (via the Content manager), and as i removed mine temporarily at first manually to fix this, this is tantamount to the same thing. Yep, Cracking bit of scenery here then :) I would hope though, that this could be mentioned in the description, as i am guessing, a lot of users would expect this to work right out of the box.
