This mod replaces generic lighting with real-world data-driven lights, accurately placed across the entire territories of Germany and the Netherlands. From dense urban grids to rural roads, every light you see exists in real life — offering an authentic and immersive experience when flying at night.
Unlike the default lights, these are independent of the simulator's LOD system, meaning they remain visible even from high altitudes. They are also highly optimized: they don’t cast ground light and have virtually no impact on performance (FPS).

Hotfix: Lights would not load correctly when both packages were installed simultaneously. This issue has now been fixed. Please update to the latest version. Also reduced light intensity. Thanks!

Hello. Why are the German motorways (Autobahnen) illuminated? This is not realistic since most German motorways do not have lighting.
Hello! The lighting generation is based on OpenStreetMap data, and in many cases the roads are tagged there as illuminated. That’s why some German motorways currently appear lit in the addon. I’ll research the specific Autobahn sections and review the OSM data/logic, because you are correct that most German motorways are not illuminated in real life. I’ll adjust this in a future update accordingly. Thank you for the feedback!

I've been using this a fair bit, but I've noticed some big stutters (5-10sec) with this installed.. I'm on high-end hardware, but it still did this for an unexplainable reason. Add-On looks great however, and the developers did a great job with all the lights. I'm looking forward to more parts of Europe, but a resolution for the stutters would be appreciated.
