Fantastic little aircraft and well worth the cash! Any plans to implement the correct sounds? I notice you're using the C172 pack provided by Asobo but it would be great to get a little closer to the authentic sound of the Optica. It should sound more like a leaf blower in the back of your head than a Cessna :-D

Great plane. This is the ONLY plane I have actually bought for MSFS, and I'm glad I did. It is such a unique "low and slow" experience that it even one-ups the IconA5 in my book. Love the little companions. ONE WISH: get the yoke working with VR motion controllers too please! (I know its extremely hard but also know with your talent you will get it working!) I bought to support your future development because I can tell you really care and have great talent, and also appreciate your high quality freeware releases.

Great one! It's fun to fly it! Thank you! Edit: But I still have one question. I have installed the GTN750 from pms50.com. Before I installed the update of the aircraft, I could select the GTN750 from the overhead panel. This worked wonderfully. However, the corresponding button is no longer there. Now I only have the standard navigation system and the GTN750 is no longer displayed. What am I doing wrong? Best regards bierchen

I really enjoyed the Jonx Optica and this polished version with the extra features is one of my favorite low speed aircraft. Great for sightseeing & the dog lowers my blood pressure. Reminds me of my dogs when we went driving in my van. I put the GTN 750 in (the plane, not the van :-) ) & I am loving it. You guys deserve something for all your freeware from the beginning. I hope everyone puts one in their hanger, one couldn't possibly regret it but rather should quite enjoy it, I know I am. Thanks a bunch !

I don't particularly like this type of plane, I prefer fast planes like the Gee Bee R3, but to support GotFriends, I bought this plane with my eyes closed and I must say that after a few minutes of flying this plane was a wonderful discovery. Everything is remarkably well done. In addition with a 50% promotion on the price. It is absolutely necessary to put it in your hangar.

A must have aircraft to truly enjoy VFR flight. Honestly, ive flown mostly airliners along with the occasional turbo prop so i usually dont take in the sights at lower altitudes but after flying in the optica all that changed, It opened my eyes to actually take in the sights more often. Thank you, 5 stars. I would have gladly paid the full price had their not been a special discounted promotion.

If you have VR (or even if you dont) this is without doubt the best plane in the Sim for showing off VR to friends. The almost clear cockpit it amazing to be in and flying low over cities and countryside alike is a joy to behold. 100% recommend this plane for anyone slightly interesting but 200% recommend if you fly in VR!

Interesting. Just purchased, but it seems to be missing repaint entries, and Guard in Coast Guard is misspelled as "Gaurd" on the USCG livery (on the tail). Their Vertigo is nice so hopefully we'll see improvements here. UPDATE: Following resolution of the missing liveries I'm upping the rating.

I can see the all white, coast guard, camo, and all yellow. I have three blank entries I can select as well with pink (untextured) aircraft available too. (Grey selectable boxes)

This is the first time we've heard of this issue. No one else is experiencing it. Please try this to fix it: - Delete Add-on from Community Folder - Re-Download Entire Package from Flightsim.to - Install New Package to Community Folder Sometimes on Day One of Releases, we have found that packages may be missing data. I'm assuming this is due to the high volume of downloads targeting the same data server. If this doesn't work, please let me know.

Looks like your diagnosis was correct. Deletion of everything and reinstalled and now getting all liveries. Looking forward to the USCG fix. (Also hoping for some sort of reg numbers and station name too on the livery...perhaps Barbers Point?) Thanks!

She flies nice and easy, I like to fly Heli's and this has great visibility akin to a Heli. Autopilot lets you sit back and sightsee. I like it and will probably fly it often. My fav livery is the Coast Guard Livery. Big Thanks to the team at Gotfriends.

okay, i finished my first flight and i am happy that it is apparently more powerful and not a "stall-warning-orchestra" like the previous freeware that also came from jonx. performance is great, gtn750 works flawlessly and optics are great. also quite intuitive handling, cold and dark worked without the manual somehow ;) liveries are pretty also. i had a funny encounter that the plane pulls to the right while taxiing after landing and i neede to counter by left rudder, but i think this is a MSFS2020 hiccup that also happened to me with the caproni-vizzola a few times. anyway, thanks for this payware, i will use it for my future sightseeing flights quite often. btw: beats the Orbx Payware easily. i mean, not that difficult to achieve this, but it must be said. :) cheers, paul

Wow! A huge step up from the freeware version. Great job guys! A couple of things I noticed after a test flight.  There is in-flight wind noise present if you open the small window on the ground. It’s not there if you open just the door, however.  The tuning parameters on the autopilot may need adjustment. It’s ok if you engage it relatively close to the desired heading / flight path, but it tends to swing back and forth excessively otherwise.
