Crafted with love by a Detroit native of 25+ years, this pack brings Windsor International Airport (CYQG) to life with hand crafted terminals, hangars, ground textures, runway markings and cracks, taxiways, signage, and night lighting. Every building has been recreated by hand using high-quality PBR materials that reflects Windsor’s real-world airport layout.

This is great, but I found a glitch in the 2020 version. The two hangers' northwest of the maintenance building are out of place. They are a little too far over. The 2024 looks fine. :) NOTE: The glitch I found was due to a dual airport package, I downloaded over a year ago. All good now.

This airport has oodles of detail that make it a delightful add-on for this area of the country. I know how much time it takes to create airports, so a lot of effort went into this project. I especially love the runway textures, but would have enjoyed walking through the interior of the terminal or the flying club. But overall, this is a great add-on.

As a Windsorite who flew many GA hours out of this airport and with family members who worked in the terminal, I can see this is a labor of love and impeccably accurate. It is a great match for the Simaddons airports for cross-countries to London or Hamilton, or an alternate field for Detroit area flyers.
