    🇬🇧 English

Your airport, running on its real schedule. ApronLife PRO brings the apron to life around AI traffic: GSX vehicles, passengers, ground crew and jet bridges serving every parked airliner – now with its own passengers, no GSX needed. In PRO, each aircraft follows its real flight, so the turnaround ends at the real pushback time – and with BeyondATC, it follows BeyondATC's own schedule, right up to the clearance call. You can follow everything from a departure board inside the simulator.

ApronLife PRO is a complete, standalone program. It includes everything from the free ApronLife plus the features below. You don't need the free version installed.

🤝 New in 1.5.6: official BeyondATC partner

ApronLife PRO now works hand in hand with BeyondATC. With BeyondATC running, ApronLife follows BeyondATC's own schedule for its aircraft:

    • 📻 Turnarounds wrap up just as the aircraft calls for its IFR clearance: doors closed, jet bridge retracted, vehicles moving away and ground crew clear. In a test at KATL, 37 of 38 departures were ready within a minute of the clearance call.
    • 🛫 An aircraft that has just landed already knows its next flight.
    • 🗺️ BeyondATC flights, runway and SID (e.g. "RWY 34R · LAXAS2") in the Flights tab, the in-sim panel and the new airport board.
    • 🌉 BeyondATC keeps its own jet bridges and pushback tug – ApronLife can still add its own ApronLife bridges.
    • ✅ One switch: "Works with BeyondATC", on by default. The rest of the traffic keeps the ApronLife schedule.

    🆕 Also new in 1.5.6

    • 🖥️ Airport board: a full-screen departures and arrivals board, like the screens in a real terminal (Boarding, Final call, Gate closed, Departed…). Open it in your browser – great on a second monitor – or on a tablet or phone on your network.
    • 📋 Flights tab: click an aircraft to send the camera to it, sort by any column, search by callsign, and a passengers % that counts the people who really walked on or off.
    • 🪧 Jet bridge ads: each airport can have its own ads folder with as many images as you like (8 at a time, rotating every 10 minutes), your images keep a name you can rename, and the ads change right away – no sim restart.
    • ✈️ Ready-made aircraft profiles for 12 common types (A320, A20N, A321, A21N, 737, B738, 777, B77L, A359, B788, B789, B78X): stairs, catering, belt loaders, fuel and water line up better with the doors out of the box. Your own adjustments are kept.
    • 🚌 Remote stands redone: buses come in along an outer lane and drive smoothly into place, take turns, and the stairs leave once the buses have gone.
    • 🔄 Updates install by themselves, and if the license server is briefly unreachable ApronLife keeps trying on its own.
    • Busy airports: passengers near what you are looking at appear first. Plus many fixes (frozen passengers, A320/737 rear stairs, wingspans of some AI models, slow start at big airports…).

    🆕 1.5.4

    • 🚶 ApronLife passengers – no GSX needed (MSFS 2024 & 2020): dozens of different people walk through the jet bridges, with phones, briefcases, rolling suitcases and backpacks. Choose ApronLife, Mixed or GSX passengers in Settings → People.
    • ⚡ Smoother at busy airports, jet bridges that carry the whole flight, closed baggage carts in rain or snow, and ground crew waiting at the stand.

    ⭐ What PRO adds

    • 🤝 BeyondATC integration (official partner): with BeyondATC running, its aircraft follow BeyondATC's own schedule – each turnaround ends right at the clearance call, landed aircraft already know their next flight, and departures show the runway and SID BeyondATC assigned. BeyondATC keeps its jet bridges and pushback. One switch, on by default.
    • 🕒 Real Schedule: every parked AI aircraft follows its real flight. ApronLife matches the callsign against a typical-week schedule of 1,500+ airports worldwide, built from real ADS-B flight data.

      • The turnaround is timed to finish at the real pushback.

      • An aircraft that just landed is serviced until the pushback of its next flight.
      • Aircraft that are not leaving soon stay quiet, with only the GPU, until their turnaround starts.
      • The schedule is downloaded and updated every week by itself; there is nothing to install.
      • With BeyondATC connected, the schedule follows the simulator clock, like BeyondATC itself. For other traffic, pick real time or sim time (AIG and similar).
      • You can turn the Real Schedule off at any time to go back to random turnarounds.
    • 🛫 AIG Traffic Controller flight plans: with AIGTC running, ApronLife PRO follows the flights in your own AIG flight plans. Each parked aircraft is matched by its registration, so ApronLife knows the exact flight it arrived on, its next flight and when it leaves.
    • 📋 Flights tab: lists the aircraft on the apron, the departures for the next 3 hours and the arrivals.

      • For each aircraft: callsign, type, stand, from/to, next flight, a pushback countdown and a live status ("passengers 64% · fuel · bags", "Awaiting clearance").

      • Click an aircraft to send the camera to it; sort by any column; search by callsign.
      • Session report (turnarounds, passengers, bags, jet bridges, pushbacks…) to copy or save as an image.
      • Times in UTC, airport local time or any UTC offset.
    • 🖥️ Airport board: a full-screen departures and arrivals board like the screens in a real terminal, in your browser, on a second monitor or on a tablet/phone on your network.
    • 🖥️ In-sim panel (MSFS 2024 and 2020): an ApronLife button on the simulator toolbar opens a panel styled like an airport departures board, with flap-tile callsigns.

      • Tabs: Flights, Departures, Control and Profiles.

      • ApronLife starts from that button, like GSX.
      • One-click modes: Light / Medium / Full, Everything / Bridges only / No people, and Bubble mode.
    • 🎬 Cinematic camera, Drone view & Cinema mode: click any aircraft in the panel and the camera flies to it and slowly orbits it, like a film shot.

      • Cinema mode (MSFS 2024): the camera tours the apron by itself, from aircraft to aircraft.

      • Drone view lets you fly the camera around the aircraft from the panel.
      • "Back to the cockpit" returns you to your aircraft.
      • MSFS 2020 doesn't allow the camera move, so there a red arrow marks the aircraft instead.
    • 🌉 ApronLife jet bridges: the scenery jet bridges near you are replaced by ApronLife bridges that dock to AI aircraft. They turn, extend to the door, close the canopy and retract before pushback, and passengers walk through them as usual.

      • They don't come off the aircraft when you move the drone camera away and back, a well-known simulator bug with the default bridges, so nearly every gate stays docked for as long as it's needed.

      • Several models: light, dark, realistic (weathered) and a detailed "Modern apron" bridge with a telescopic column, an open cab and working wheels.
      • Advertising banners on the bridge sides: 8 fictional brands or your own images (with your own names), and a per-airport ads folder with as many images as you like, rotating 8 at a time. Changes show right away.
      • Model, banner and on/off can be set per airport and per stand.
      • The bridge package installs itself in your Community folder.
      • Your own stand and iniBuilds multi-jetway gates keep the scenery bridge (GSX / Ctrl+J). The original bridges come back when ApronLife closes.
      • MSFS 2024 only for now: ApronLife jet bridges are not available in MSFS 2020 yet; there the simulator's own jet bridges are used.
    • 🛠️ Profile Studio, airport profiles: an airport map with all its stands. It also works with the simulator closed, and any airport can be read straight from the sim without flying there. Per stand you choose:

      • the ApronLife jet bridge on or off, and which model;

      • buses, fuel truck or hydrant;
      • which services happen;
      • which installed vehicle serves each one.
    • ✈️ Profile Studio, aircraft profiles (by type: A20N, B738, B77W…) – ready-made profiles for 12 common types included:

      • Which services the aircraft gets, and the vehicle model for each one.

      • Where each vehicle parks (forward, outward, height, rotation).
      • Cargo door positions, and where the jet bridge meets the door.
      • Front, rear or both stairs at remote stands.
      • Which wing it refuels from (auto uses the left wing for the airlines that do it that way).
    • 🎛️ Live adjustment in the simulator: a test aircraft with all its vehicles appears behind yours, and every slider moves the real vehicle instantly, so you can fit each vehicle to the doors by eye.
    • ⚙️ Settings and performance per airport: each airport can have its own vehicle count, people, bridges, bubble mode and so on, loaded automatically when you arrive.
    • 🔁 Sharing: airport and aircraft profiles are exported and imported as files, like GSX profiles.
    • 🧭 SimBrief integration: reads your latest flight plan and shows the flight, origin, destination, alternate (with runways) and times. Shortcuts open the airport profiles before you fly. Authorized by Navigraph.
    • 🧳 Two belt loaders: front and rear holds served at the same time, each with its own belt loader or container loader, tug and baggage carts or container dollies, timed with fuel and catering. Automatic on widebodies with containers; choose it per aircraft type in the Profile Studio.
    • 🚌 Remote stands with two stairs: front and rear stairs with two buses at the same time, each stairs with its own passenger barrier lane.
    • 🔄 Automatic updates: when a new version is out, ApronLife downloads and installs it by itself the next time it opens, and shows what's new.
    • 🌍 6 languages: English, Português, Español, Français, Deutsch and Italiano, in the window, the guide and the in-sim panel.

    🛬 Plus everything from ApronLife

    • Complete turnarounds for AI aircraft: GPU, fuel truck or hydrant dispenser, catering (the box rises to the door), lavatory and water trucks working like in GSX, belt loaders with baggage carts (the bags really move), and container loaders with LD3 dollies on widebodies. Vehicles and staff use the GSX liveries of each stand or airline.
    • AIG cargo doors: on the AIG models with animated holds, the hold opens smoothly when the loader arrives and closes when it leaves.
    • Remote stands: stairs, buses and passengers walking between them, with GSX passenger barriers.
    • Crew and cleaning in the right order: the crew leaves, cleaners board, the new crew boards, then the passengers.
    • Passengers inside the jet bridges – ApronLife's own or GSX's – following your GSX paths when there are any.
    • Ground staff: wingwalkers, loadmaster, fueler, ramp agent, and marshallers with wands for arrivals and pushback. Pushback is done with a tug.
    • Apron inspection cars patrol the aprons near you.
    • Smart routing: vehicles plan their routes around aircraft, bridges, the terminal, other vehicles and people. They queue, give way and stop for taxiing aircraft.
    • Time of day and weather: quieter aprons at night, weather outfits, and de-icing in the cold.
    • Uses your GSX profiles: passenger paths, parking systems, hydrant or truck fuelling, "no bus" stands and handling liveries.
    • Performance controls: Light / Medium / Full presets, Bubble mode, and on/off switches for every feature.
    • Works automatically at the airport nearest to you: it starts after you land and pauses when you take off (or keeps running while you fly, with "Keep running when airborne").

    ✅ Requirements

    1. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 or 2020 on Windows 10/11.
    2. An AI traffic injector that parks airliners at gates: BeyondATC (official partner, recommended), or AIG Traffic Controller, SayIntentions, VATSIM traffic or similar. ApronLife does not create traffic; it serves the traffic that is already parked.
    3. FSLTL or AIG models for the AI traffic.
    4. GSX Pro (FSDreamTeam): optional, but recommended.

      • Without GSX, ApronLife uses the simulator's own vehicles, the jet bridges and its own passengers.

      • With GSX you also get stairs and buses at remote stands, GSX passengers, ground crew, marshallers, baggage carts, container loaders, hydrant dispensers and the liveries from your GSX profiles.
      • Nothing from GSX is redistributed.
    5. An internet connection while you use ApronLife PRO (license check, real schedule and passengers package).

    🔑 Installation & license

    1. Run the ApronLife PRO setup (installs for your Windows user, no admin rights).
    2. On the first start, enter the e-mail you want for your license (twice) and the license key you received with your purchase. The key is tied to that e-mail on the first activation, so check the e-mail carefully. If you typed it wrong, contact support.
    3. Start MSFS, load a flight at an airport with traffic, and press Start, or use the ApronLife button on the simulator toolbar.
    • One-time purchase. Each license includes up to 3 activations. "Release this PC" frees one.
    • The Real Schedule, the passengers package and new versions are updated through the app.

    ⚠️ Good to know

    • The Real Schedule follows real-world flights. Small differences can show up between your traffic injector's schedule and what ApronLife expects. Aircraft without a matching flight keep the usual random turnaround.
    • With BeyondATC Live Traffic, a parked aircraft only gets its real flight when it starts to leave, so its departure time is an estimate: the turnaround finishes a bit earlier and the aircraft waits for its clearance with the jet bridge and GPU still connected.
    • AI aircraft passenger doors stay closed: FSLTL and AIG models have no animated passenger doors.
    • Only the airport nearest to you is served. Big hubs take a minute to fill up; use Bubble mode or the Light/Medium presets there.

    Changelog

    v1.5.66 days ago

v1.5.6 ------ [EN] NEW - BeyondATC integration (official partner – Works with BeyondATC): with BeyondATC running, ApronLife follows BeyondATC's own schedule for BeyondATC's aircraft. Each turnaround ends right when the aircraft calls for its IFR clearance – doors closed, jet bridge retracted and ground crew clear just in time for the pushback – and an aircraft that has just landed already knows its next flight. The departures and arrivals in the Flights tab also come from BeyondATC. New "BeyondATC" card in the Flights tab (on by default); the rest of the traffic keeps the ApronLife schedule. IMPROVEMENTS - Updates now install by themselves: when ApronLife opens and a new version is available, it downloads it, installs it and opens again on the new version – no clicks needed. If ApronLife was opened by the simulator, it keeps working that way. - With BeyondATC Live Traffic: a parked aircraft taken over by a live flight that is already past its time now gets a normal turnaround (passengers, baggage) until it calls for clearance – before, it was shown at the end of boarding with nobody walking. - "Passengers walking at once" set to 0 now means no limit (before, 0 meant no walking passengers). - Busy airports (100+ aircraft): passengers near what you are looking at (the aircraft picked in the in-sim panel, the camera or your own aircraft) now appear first, and far away fewer walk at once. Before, at airports like KATL, the panel showed boarding in progress but the passengers appeared too late or not at all. - The aircraft you pick in the in-sim panel (cinematic or drone camera) always gets a busy jet bridge, even when the passenger limit is full. - With BeyondATC: when BeyondATC removes an aircraft, its vehicles leave right away; when BeyondATC restarts its traffic, the turnarounds wait for the aircraft to come back. - "Jet bridges" setting is now "Scenery jet bridges": with it off and ApronLife bridges on, only the ApronLife bridges dock (up to your limit) and the other stands are left as they are – lighter on big airports. With both off, ApronLife does not touch any jet bridge. - ApronLife jet bridges with a limit: all your ApronLife bridges now go to parked aircraft – first to aircraft with no jet bridge, then replacing the simulator's own bridge even if it is already docked. Bridges left at empty stands are moved to parked aircraft (before, at airports with overlapping stands like KATL, some stayed at empty stands). Scenery jet bridges still leave alone an aircraft whose simulator bridge is already docked. - With BeyondATC Live Traffic (or a BeyondATC aircraft with no departure time yet): the departure time is only an estimate, so the turnaround now finishes earlier – 25 min (35 on widebodies) – and the aircraft then waits for its clearance with the jet bridge and the GPU still connected. Many more aircraft now leave with the whole turnaround done. - Flights tab and in-sim panel: the "Ready" status is now "Awaiting clearance" (the aircraft is done and waiting to depart). - Flights tab, new look: BeyondATC is now a single button (Works with BeyondATC) – while BeyondATC is connected, the schedule follows the simulator clock, like BeyondATC itself, and the clock options are greyed out. The AIG folder moved to Settings. The session card got the ApronLife PRO look (also on the image you copy or save). - Flights tab: click any aircraft in the table to send the simulator camera to it (on MSFS 2020, the red arrow above it) – a "Back to the cockpit" button appears at the top. The table header and that button stay in place while you scroll, in the app and in the in-sim panel. - Flights tab and in-sim panel: click a column header to sort (click again to reverse, a third time for the default order). Aircraft with no schedule always go last, also in the default order. - Flights tab: new search box next to "Cinema mode" – type part of a callsign to show only the matching flights (on the apron, departures and arrivals); Esc clears it. - Flights tab and in-sim panel: the passengers % now counts the passengers who really walked on or off the aircraft (before, it followed the turnaround clock and could show 50% while the crew was still boarding). Before boarding starts it shows "crew boarding". - Airport board (new): a full-screen departures and arrivals board, like the screens in a real terminal – times, flight, destination, gate and status (Boarding, Final call, Gate closed, Departed, Delayed, Landed…). Opens from the Flights tab in your browser (great on a second monitor) and also on a tablet or phone on your network (network access in Settings, address + /fids). - With BeyondATC: the runway and SID BeyondATC gives each departure now show in the Flights tab, in the in-sim panel and on the airport board (e.g. "RWY 34R · LAXAS2"). - Ads per airport (ApronLife jet bridges, "Modern apron" models): in the airport profile (Studio) each airport can have its own ads folder, with as many images as you like – import them there (PNG, JPG or WEBP; best 2304 × 512) or drop them in the folder. At that airport the bridges show those images instead of the 8 from Settings, 8 at a time, changing every 10 minutes; pick an image on a stand to keep it there. Airports without a folder keep the 8 from Settings. - Jet bridge ads now change right away – no simulator restart needed (also for the 8 ads in Settings). - Jet bridge ads in Settings: your own images now keep a name – it starts as the file name and you can rename it ("Rename"). Before, every custom image showed as "your image", also in the airport profile. - Passengers: the bouncy "happy" walk is now rare (it showed up far too often). - Without GSX: a test character in everyday clothes no longer shows up as ramp agent (it was there by mistake – ApronLife's own ground crew is not out yet). - "Open with the simulator" now does what it says: off, ApronLife no longer opens with MSFS at all; on, it opens with MSFS and closes with it – and "Start the engine when ApronLife opens" decides whether the services start right away or wait for Start / the ApronLife button in the sim toolbar. Nothing changes for you after updating: if ApronLife already opened with MSFS, the option is now simply turned on. - "GSX vehicles only": the patrol cars now keep driving around the airport (GSX has no patrol cars, so before there were none at all). - If ApronLife can't reach the license server when it opens (a short internet hiccup, for example), it now shows "Connecting to the ApronLife server…" and keeps trying by itself for up to 5 minutes – no need to do anything, it opens as soon as it connects. Before, it went straight to the activation screen. Activating also tries again a couple of times before showing an error. - With BeyondATC connected (MSFS 2024): the scenery jet bridges are left to BeyondATC, which operates them itself – ApronLife only uses its own ApronLife bridges (if turned on), even with "Scenery jet bridges" on. - Remote stands, redone buses: each bus comes in along an outer lane – clear of the wingtips and of the bus already parked at the other stairs – makes one smooth curve and drives the last metres straight into its spot, without circling, spinning or crossing the passenger rope lines. It leaves straight ahead and turns out; at the rear stairs, where the wing is ahead, it first backs up a few metres. The buses of an aircraft now take turns instead of getting in each other's way, and a bus waits for people to step aside instead of driving round the aircraft. - Remote stands, a tidier apron: when boarding is over the stairs back away and leave once the buses have gone (before, they parked in the buses' lane), and the wingwalkers waiting for an AI pushback only come out after the buses and stairs have left, just inside the wingtip. - Stairs turned in the aircraft profile: passengers now walk along the stairs as turned (before they kept the straight path and walked through the steps). - With BeyondATC: the pushback tug is now left to BeyondATC too, like the jet bridges – ApronLife no longer sends its own tug to BeyondATC's aircraft. - Ready-made aircraft profiles: ApronLife now comes with tuned service positions for 12 common types (A320, A20N, A321, A21N, 737, B738, 777, B77L, A359, B788, B789, B78X) – stairs, catering, belt loaders, fuel, water and more line up better with the doors out of the box. Your own aircraft profiles are kept: whatever you adjusted stays yours, and the rest comes from the ready-made profile. Deleting a profile in the Studio brings back the ready-made one. FIXES - ApronLife could stop by itself after a few minutes at stands without a GSX passenger path when "Default jet bridge path" was turned off (1.5.4). - On the first start of the day the window could stay on the activation screen even though the license had already been confirmed – clicking Activate gave an error until ApronLife was reopened (1.5.5). - Remote stands: A320 and 737 family aircraft now always get the front and the rear stairs (each with its own bus), as intended – some AI models made ApronLife think they were smaller and they got only the front stairs. You can still choose one stair per aircraft type in the aircraft profile. - Passengers could stop at the bus door or at the foot of the stairs and stay there frozen until the end of the turnaround – two of them were waiting for each other. - Some AI models (AIG A320/A321/737, for example) report a much smaller wingspan than the real one: ApronLife now uses the real size of the type (also for AI E-Jets that only report "E195"), so vehicles and buses keep clear of the wings. - Starting at big airports with many heliports nearby (KLAX, for example): ApronLife could take a long time to start the ground services and, a couple of minutes later, restart them as if you had changed airport. It now goes straight to the airport you are at. - Aircraft profile (Studio): adjusting the front stairs also moved the rear stairs. Each stair now keeps its own adjustment – profiles you saved before stay exactly where you left them.

    v1.5.416 days ago

v1.5.4 ------ [EN] NEW - ApronLife passengers – NO GSX NEEDED (MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020): ApronLife now has its own passengers. You no longer need GSX to see people walking to and from the aircraft through the jet bridges. Dozens of different people (ages, builds, outfits): texting with the phone in both hands, carrying briefcases and shopping bags, pulling rolling suitcases (lifted by the handle on the stairs) and wearing backpacks. They keep what they are doing on the stairs and queue without walking through each other. With GSX installed you choose in Settings → People → "Passengers": ApronLife, Mixed (ApronLife + GSX) or GSX – and they also use the GSX stairs and buses at remote stands. Coming soon: our own drivers and crew. The people package (about 1 GB) is downloaded by ApronLife once, in the background, the first time you open 1.5.4 with your PRO license – the log shows the progress, and if the download stops it continues from where it stopped. Until it finishes the passengers come from GSX. When it is ready ApronLife installs it in the Community folder; restart the simulator once. - Closed baggage carts (GSX): baggage trains now also use the GSX closed cart with side curtains – about half of the trains, and all of them in rain or snow. The curtain opens only on the cart the belt loader is working on, and closes again when he moves to the next one. In the Studio (airport or aircraft profile → Vehicles → "Baggage cart") you can fix open or closed carts instead of the automatic mix. - Ground crew waiting at the stand: when an arriving aircraft turns into its stand, two ground crew are already standing by in front of the stop line, next to the marshaller, and stay until the aircraft is parked and the turnaround crew takes over. Works with any traffic (BeyondATC, FSLTL, AIG, VATSIM). IMPROVEMENTS - Jet bridges carry the whole flight: the number of passengers now matches the aircraft (a 737 MAX 8 sends about 130–190 through the bridge, not a few dozen), and the aircraft you are watching up close always has a busy bridge. - Much fewer stutters when the airport fills up: vehicles and people now appear and disappear spread over time, instead of dozens in the same instant. In our test at a busy EGLL (same scene, measured against the previous behaviour several times): the 0.1% low FPS went up about 45% and the longest stutters became about 2.5 times shorter (worst frame ≈375 ms → ≈145 ms), with the same average FPS. - Container loaders, smooth now: the containers and the loader platform are updated 4 times more often (40 instead of 10 times per second) and glide like the rest of the vehicles, instead of moving in small steps. - ApronLife now remembers, for each airport, the stands where the simulator's jet bridge never works (the bridge cannot reach the door, or the simulator never lets the bridge dock there). On your next visits, aircraft at those stands get stairs right away instead of waiting for a bridge that will not come. Every 4th visit to an airport, ApronLife reads the airport again from the simulator (in case the scenery changed) and learns the bridges again – nothing to set up. - No connection to the ApronLife server: if a firewall, antivirus or the internet blocks ApronLife, a red notice now shows in the bottom bar (hover for what to allow; click to test again) and the log says so – before, the update check failed silently and new versions were never announced. The license screen messages also mention firewalls. ApronLife retries every 10 minutes. - Free trial: when the trial cannot start on this PC (virtual machine, PC without hardware identification, no connection), ApronLife tells the license server why – only the reason and the version, no e-mail – so these cases can be fixed. - New License tab: your PRO license and the real schedule package now have their own page. The Flights tab got a clearer schedule setup: two cards to pick the clock by your traffic (real time for BeyondATC, FSLTL and live traffic; simulator time for AIG and other custom schedules), and a compact AIG folder line. The Cinema mode button has a new look. - Phone and tablet: the ApronLife window opened from another device ("Access from the network") now fits small screens — the side menu becomes a row of icons under the title, the counters sit in two columns and the tables scroll sideways. - Jet bridges already docked by another program: if ApronLife detects that a jet bridge was already connected to an aircraft by another system, it no longer interferes with it and sends the passengers through that bridge. FIXES - MSFS 2024 with BeyondATC (simulator's own aircraft models): the aircraft type was not recognised, so a 787 or 777 could get the services of a narrowbody. The type is now read correctly in MSFS 2024 as well. - The belt loader and the container loader sometimes drove over the baggage tug and its carts. They now always arrive first; the baggage train comes after they are in place at the hold. - The rear belt loader sometimes arrived with the fuel truck already under the wing and slid sideways into its spot. Now, when refuelling is on the right wing, the fuel truck comes first: belt loaders, baggage trains and catering arrive after it has left, taking turns where they don't fit together. - At a stand whose jet bridge cannot reach the door, the next aircraft now gets stairs right away. The list of those stands was also carried over to the next airport in the same session (wrong stands) – it is now per airport. - Pushback tug leaving before the pushback: when an aircraft turned its beacon on long before pushing back, the tug left after 5 minutes and the aircraft pushed back on its own. The tug now waits up to 20 minutes. - In-sim panel: the stand now shows its full name, like the Flights tab (B35, D41), instead of only the number. - Flights tab: the note "≈ = estimated time; ~ = derived from the route" showed in Portuguese with the window in another language when there were no flights yet. - The ApronLife window kept opening as a browser tab instead of its own window after one slow start of Edge (for example while the simulator was loading). ApronLife now waits up to 30 s, only skips a browser after it fails twice in a row, and tries it again after 7 days. - VATSIM / IVAO (vPilot, xPilot, swift, Altitude running): an aircraft already parked when ApronLife starts is a pilot who connected at the gate and is about to leave – it now starts its turnaround at boarding and loading, instead of deboarding with the passenger count going up. An aircraft that taxis in after landing still gets the full turnaround, starting with deboarding. Online aircraft also no longer stand idle at the start waiting for their turn. - VATSIM / IVAO: the Real Schedule is no longer applied to online aircraft – they are flown by real pilots, with their own times, so their turnaround is no longer stretched or squeezed to match a real-world flight. - Flights tab and in-sim panel: during deboarding, the passenger percentage now counts down (passengers still on board), like boarding counts up. - ApronLife jet bridges: when the simulator could not load them (for example right after installing, before restarting MSFS), aircraft far from you got a jet bridge that docked and retracted in the same second. Now only aircraft within the jet bridge range get one. - ApronLife jet bridges: the messages shown when the bridges can't be used now say what to do (restart MSFS once, or reinstall ApronLife PRO with the latest installer). Running ApronLife PRO from the old folder of versions 1.5.0–1.5.1, which has no ApronLife bridges, is now reported in the log.

    v1.5.119 days ago

v1.5.1 ------ [EN] NEW - Settings → General: new "Access from other devices on my network (iPad, phone)", off by default. Open the ApronLife window on a tablet or phone on the same Wi-Fi: scan the QR code or type the address shown, then the access code (requested by a user). Windows may ask once to allow ApronLife on private networks. IMPROVEMENTS - No more donation buttons in PRO – only the Discord button (and a short thank-you in the "What's new" window). - Performance tab: the old "Forward belt loader" switch is gone. In PRO the front belt loader / container loader is chosen per aircraft type in the Profile Studio (aircraft profile → Belt loaders / container loaders: Automatic, Rear only, Front and rear), with its own tug and carts; Automatic = widebodies get both, other aircraft only the rear one. - The ApronLife window now remembers its size: resize it once and it opens with that size next time (requested by a user). FIXES - AIG aircraft are now recognized by their exact type (737-800, A330-200, 777-300ER, 737 MAX 8…): AIG names its models by variant, so they were read as "B737" or "A330" – the Profile Studio's "Adjust live in the simulator" said there was no model of that type at the airport, and AIG aircraft used the profile and door positions of the wrong variant. - Antivirus alerts when ApronLife goes to the background (reported with Kaspersky, "PDM:Trojan.Win32.Generic"): the tray icon and the folder and file pickers no longer start PowerShell with an encoded command, a pattern that some antivirus programs flag. Settings → General: new "Tray icon (next to the clock)", on by default – turn it off and ApronLife keeps running in the background without any tray icon (open the window again from the Start menu).

This is amazing, it just brings every airport alive! I first tried the free version, which was already awesome. I felt that buying the main version was a good way to payback for all the hard work, and I love all the extra features it brings. Especially the integration with SimBrief and BeyondATC. Seeing the servicing vehicles and people around other aircraft is brilliant, and a bonus is that you also see vehicles driving around at every airport making it feel like something is going on. Passengers boarding, even crew walking to the aircraft. It's just brilliant!

I you have this you never want to go back :D There must be the question, why such functionality isn´t included in the base game... but, thanks to Nikitinha it works via app. Had the base version before and was astonished and overwhelmed. When I tried to support via coffee, I saw there´s a full version. Then it was a "no brainer" for me. Performance issues or loss you can see on big, busy and perhaps not very well optimized airports/hubs (Schipol, Frankfurt, Heathrow, JFK, Atlanta) which I mainly connect to. Therefore I use medium settings (in conncection to GSX Pro) in the vicinity up to 300-500m around my position. Everything else you wouldn´t see any way :D Besides that, it´s adding so much immersion, life and beauty into your sim - I missed my departure slot by 20mins yesterday, because I just observed airport life and made photos. So much for that :P

I already have GSX pro and if i add Apron Life PRO on top of GSX pro what new Apron life PRO will add in MSFS2024? Also do i need the Apron Life PRO software running at all times in Foreground for it work during flight or if the software is in backround it still works or works even with the software off?

    nikitinha20259 days ago

Hello! Ok, answering all of your questions: 1- GSX for now is used for vehicles and drivers, if you don't have GSX you won't see some kind of vehicles and their drivers. The passengers are already from Apron Life Pro and all it's feature do not interfere or come from GSX. 2 - Once you start Apron Life and click to run the engine, you can minimize it to tray, whenever you takeoff it will pause the Apron Life engine and whenever you land it will automatically start the engine and serve your airport, but it needs to be opened, if you don't open Apron Life it won't do anything to your airport Thank you!

The missing piece to make airports truly feel alive, great work! Now, and in the same way you added people for those of us who don't have GSX, I would love for you to add extra vehichles pack please to bring even more diversity to airports :-) UPDATE: I couldn't resist and got GSX Pro to work alongside ApronLife Pro and the result is amazing! Thanks again for this incredible app Sir :-)

I run MSFS2024 on linux (i know i know), and this worked right out of the box on my proton prefix, i had to open up one port but this brought life to the apron and its EXACTLY what i was looking for (everything felt "dead" before, this for sure brings up the immersion. Really enjoying it so far and it has lots of customization. I would highly recomend this.

    nikitinha202512 days ago

Wow this is a brand new experience! Even on linux haha! Thank you very much for your feedback, I'm really glad it worked for you on linux, thank you again and I wish you many happy flights!

IT"S ALLLIIIIIVE!!! FINALLY...an active airport. Nothing broke immersion more, than stepping outside the cockpit view, and seeing a massive airport like KATL (thanks Matteo Veneziani) jammed with airplanes (thanks Say Intentions, FSLTL, and AIG) and the only sign of life, si the ground crew (thanks GSX Pro) prepping your plane for departure. Now, (thanks ApronLife Pro) airports look like they're supposed to look, like a hive of activity. Other planes with ground crews at work. Airport maintenance crews on the move in vehicles, apron attendants moving around the tarmac. ApronLife Pro (with the above mentioned add-ons) finally brings MSFS 2024's airports and environs to life, the way they are in the real world.

And it keeps improving!. What an outstanding app, I used the free version and was amazed with what the dev had done, what best way to support his work than to buy his payware version. I very much like your work, sincerely, you add things but always create a way for us to turn it OFF if we don't want a feature, congratz and I wish you the best with this app, you deserve it.

Back in 2024, when we first dove into this game—which promised to immerse us in a world of new possibilities—who among us didn’t imagine that these kinds of features would eventually appear in the game? How wrong we were... but just when all seemed lost, there are always people who help us dream again. Thank you for this wonderful mod, which brings airports to life and keeps them in constant motion.

The freeware version of Apron Life got me hooked. If you combine it with GSX, (the freeware) "Vantage" or "Airside", you can enjoy amazing ground traffic. Sit back and watch the show! Refreshing to see frequent updates - and well worth the extra payware features, IMHO.

GSX was a breath of fresh air for populating your aircraft. It's amazing that this does exactly the same thing for the all AI aircraft populating your airport (depends on your settings, of course). It looks amazing and I found myself just spending time last night staring at all the night-time activity around KSFO. Tried the free version and it convinced me enough to pay for this Pro version which is surprising in it's options available. I'm confident that you can find a working setting for your computer and am sure you'll be pleasantly surprised by the result. Hope this gets supported over time as I believe it will be a must-have add-on once folks actually discover this. Amazing app and thanks for coming out with this. Congratulations from one happy customer.

Hi, enthusiast user of free version I have purchased the Pro. It looks really great, one of the greatest adds for MSFS! One wish: could be great to have a full airport timeboard for departures and arrivals (like it was the unfortunately discontinued tool for FSX and P3D SuperTrafficBoard).

    nikitinha202518 days ago

Hello! Thank you for the review and comment! I hope you really enjoy everything on the app! Aboute the full airport timeboard, there is the in game menu, but I think I got what you mean and it's already on my futures notes for new features! Thanks !

Love this app! It finally brings FS2024 airports to life. I was though initially confused by the pricing for UK £ as the discount did not add up. However, on contacting the developer, he sent a really quick reply which helped to clarify: " the full price is 19,90 usd then 25% is about 14,9 usd! in £ it's a smaller value due to exchange rate but it's correct! "

This morning I bought the Pro version after using the standard version for the past few days and being very satisfied with it. I installed it, launched it, and there was quite a bit of activity at the airport. Since all the controls were set to “on,” though, it was pretty choppy. After making a few adjustments to the settings, my simulator is running smoothly again, and I’ve customized the airport experience to suit me and my hardware. I think it’s a great program—I wouldn’t want to be without it now. best regards, Peter

    SimulatorMSFS2020/24
    Disk Space100 MB
    Operating SystemWindows
    Version1.5.6
    EULA

    Additional Requirements

    Required

    • Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 or Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020
    • Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)
    • An AI traffic program that parks airliners at gates: Beyond ATC, AIG Traffic Controller, SayIntentions, VATSIM traffic (vPilot) or similar. ApronLife does not create traffic, it serves the AI aircraft that are already parked.
    • FSLTL or AIG aircraft models for the AI traffic
    • Internet connection for the license activation and the weekly Real Schedule updates (works offline for up to 3 days after the last license check)
    • A web browser for the settings window (Edge, Chrome, Brave, Vivaldi or your default browser)

    Recommended (optional)

    • GSX Pro (FSDreamTeam): adds stairs and buses at remote stands, passengers, ground crew, marshallers, baggage carts, container loaders, hydrant dispensers and your GSX liveries. Without GSX, ApronLife uses the simulator’s own vehicles.
    • SimBrief account (for the flight plan integration)

    Notes

    • MSFS 2020: lavatory and water trucks don’t exist there, and the ApronLife jet bridges are a first version, still in testing.
    • The Real Schedule needs traffic with real-world callsigns (for example, BeyondATC, or AIG with its flight plans). Aircraft without a matching flight keep the normal random turnaround.
