Diavik Diamond Mine or officialy Diavic airport (CDK2), is privately owned airport serving Diavik diamond mine, located in Northwestern Territories in Canada. The airport does not receive any regular flights, but sees lots of Cargo traffic to and from the mine.
Diavik Airport has also witnessed a air catastrophy, when in early 2000 a Buffalo Airways DC-4 crash landed loosing the undercarriage and as a result collapsing and catching fire. Both pilots escaped with minor injuries, the aircraft burned down completely.
There is one problem with a scenery at the moment. In real life, Diavik has gravel airstrip. Whatever I do, MSFS places concrete runway there and I can't change that, If anyone has any ideas please message me. I will be happy sharing development files as well on request.
Please download aircraft from JPfillion and put them into your community folder.

Thanks for doing this! CDK2 is one of the more interesting places to land because the mine is really well captured in the scenery. This makes it even better!

That is true :)
I've got planned few updates to the airport at some point, there's still few things I'd like to put there and I want to work on the runway cuz in reality it's gravel but when I was creating this one the sim forced asphalt runway and I could not get it changed to gravel... weird... anyway, happy u like it. Keep an eye on the updates at some point :)
