The HotFix (v 1.2) made my day. This is far better than the previous versions. Thank you very much!
RailCowGirl
The taxiways should be more sloped so you don't get that nasty height difference you at A5. But I guess there are limitations to what is possible in the modelling?
The product is getting there, but there is still a way to go to make it 100% usable in all conditions, but for Eyecandy during daytime this is awesome. WombiiActual's version of ENBR is still the better option when it comes to to realism from a pilot perspective.

alright, as the one who bought this airport I can say it definitely is way better than the free one. I do not believe those who compare do that seriously. All the objects and runways and small details like extra trees and bushes and cars and containers etc are just so lovely! Whereas taxiways are challenging especially for long wieners such CRJ-1000/900 this is pretty similar to real world profiles. I had no luck to check it IRL but Google Earth heights confirm up to 3m. at the southern txy. And yes, I still do not understand how those long and low aircrafts climb there (??).
SO in all the seriousness this is a firm 4 start airport to me in awesone location. Fixing jetways, markings and snow coverage would make it 5 to me. Thanks)
UPD checked again with Google Earth. I went all the Y and all the A from 1 to 9. Well, it is not that steep if to believe. Here are level diffs btw Y and the Rwy: A9-0m, A8-1m, a7-2m, a6-3m, a5-1m, a4-0m, a3-0m, a2-1m, a1 - 2m.
Sure I know GE is not an official source but thats the only I have got so far.
That would be very interesting to hear anything relevant from the locals having real life experience there.

Basically the same as the freeware but with minor improvements and some downgrades, barely even payware
Justin1995 3 month(s) ago
Totally with you, even the AFCAD and taxi signs are terrible, not compatible with AI traffic, since there are no taxiways linked to runway and the majority of them missing.

Hi!
Thank you for sharing your opinion. If we felt the same as you do, we would have made it freeware 😊 We will take the feedback onboard.
Kind regards

A good start. But not worth the money since the freeware version is in many ways a better alternative. You better use your resources on more needed airports like ENZV, Stavanger Airport, Sola.

Why put effort into VSDG system with no moving jetways? It could have been a good scenery if jetways was operational and the texture and details around the gates on airside were of better quality.
I was disappointed and cant recomend other buyers this product.
RDPresets 4 month(s) ago
Hi,
If you had read the other comments you would have seen that the jetways were supposed to be moving and will be fixed in the day 1 patch, this is a bug and not done op purpose.
Thank you

My mistake, good to hear that you are on it. 😊

A 20$ Payware scenery without jetways is a joke. Even if they come later that date is never specified.. Functioning custom jetways are one of if not the biggest part of payware airports and its just un acceptable and stupid why you wouldn't include them
skymaster18
Great details and good performance. This is my home airport which I knew very well. May I suggest a few improvements. First of all ENBR Bergen Airport Flesland has a slope runway. The scenery shows a sloped runway, but it should be more sloped. In the north (west by RWY 17) there is a large field with a strange texture. Please have look at it. And finally the sea surrounding the airport is too crowded by vessels. The Naval base North of ENBR (Haakonsvern) is not a cruise ship harbour. If any vessels present, there should be naval vessels by the quays

Amazing Airport! So happy with finally a good ENBR, Great performance combined with highly detailed buildings with interior. This scenery really gives off the feeling of being there in real life! Good job RDPresets, hope you do more airports like this in the future

So sad!
A beautifull scenery and then the jetways dont work? For more then 20 bucks? I will come back when its ready to work.

Hi Kappe,
As we shared this on our social media channels we will share it here too: The jetways are supposed to be working but are not, We understand that it's a inconvenience and are resolving this in an update coming very soon that will fix all of the feedback we got in the first few days.
Thank you.

What about RW profile?
Can't find any pictures so i can compare (ENBR freware sceney) with this one, the only i saw a glimpse of it, it looked almost flat!!!
Maybe developer could use a bit more time on RW profile instead of all that eyecandy stuff inside and in front of terminal, not very usable for an pilot?
dustninja 4 month(s) ago
I tried it out and it is indeed missing the big slope of the runway. I went back to the freeware version, feels like that is better for frames also..
RDPresets 4 month(s) ago
Hi,
We used Norwegian government data to determine and implement a realistic simulation of the real life runway. We have seen people commenting that the runway seems to be not sloped enough which we will take on board if that is what the customer wants, however the runway is far from flat, you only have to take a look at the runway or use it to noticed the amount of bumps there are. Slope will be improved in the day 1 fixed for users that want even more slope but we have worked with reliable data to construct a realistic version of the runway in Bergen. As said in the other comments, the day 1 fix will fix all comments made by the users that have already used the scenery to make sure everybody is happy.
Thank you.
GunStrauss 4 month(s) ago
Please, just make the runway correct according to real world data and how the sim intercepts that data, we don't need an exaggerated vision of the runway.

Maybe this link will work: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/697885739144183901/1052326486981488650/image.png
This may or may not be the data you're using. It's the 2020 dataset terrain profile along the runway, with north end on left, south end on right. This is the data my runway is based on.

So cool that the maker of the freeware version of Flesland. is giving the correct database info for a better version of the payware version. Heart for the SIm.

Hi WombiiActual!
Big respect for you commenting and sharing with us, It's highly appreciated! We will take it on board and we are working hard to make this all the best it can be for all users. Thank you for all the work you have done for the community with the free version of Bergen!

does this airport have animated jetways? in all videos and review, they don't show anything related to this
paulhannover 4 month(s) ago
it doesn't have for the time being
SparkySven 4 month(s) ago
No working jetways yet and the cattery truck goes too high and some guy pushed a cart trough wrong height walkway and drives trough concrete light posts but I was using my CRJ 700 so may only work with bigger airliners from PMDG and or Fenix A320 that I did not try yet but stunning location.
miguel88 4 month(s) ago
how the hell after 2 years of MSFS released there are some devs that released an airport without working jetways when for the same airport there are a freeware option with working jetway
scandinavian941 4 month(s) ago
darn, and i was about to purchase that jewel !!! the freeware is maybe not as eye teasing, but for us "pilots" functionning jetways and ground services are a must !!!!
