The Villages is the largest retirement community in the world. It is located in central Florida and has a population of about 140,000 as of 2021. The Villages has more holes of golf than any other community/facility in the world with currently 693 holes.
My latest version of the Scenery for The Villages includes:
- Four Golf Cart Bridges that also light up at light
- Five water towers that also light up at night.
- The lighthouse on Lake Sumter, with the restaurant. The lighthouse will light up and has a rotating beacon.
- The Morse Blvd. bridge over Lake Sumter
- Lake Sumter Landing excludes TIN and enables detected, OSM, MS, and custom scenery.
- Boats on Lake Sumter and Lake Miona
- Airport 5FA1 and surrounding area excludes TIN and enables detected, OSM, MS, and custom scenery.
- Airport 5FA1 has some scenery added, including an animated windsock
- Sandhill Golf Course has a starter shack and some scenery around green #9 including golf carts, golfers, golf flag, and more.
- Turtle Mound Golf Course has a starter shack and some scenery around hole #1
- Alligators on the Turtle Mound Golf Course (can you find them?)
- The Village of St. James excludes TIN and enables detected, OSM, MS, and custom scenery.
- Brownwood Town Center excludes TIN and enables detected, OSM, MS, and custom scenery.
- Animated Flags at a couple of Recreation Centers
Install the following libraries:
- Windy Things
- Dave's 3D animals Library
- Dave's Seaplane base object library
- Boat-Library-Moving
- Boat-Library-Status
Turn off Grass and Bushes in the options for a better experience on the golf courses.
This zip file contains one folder: Just put the folder in your Community Folder and you are ready to go.
Great job on the scenery. I've been here since 2005 and love it.
The lighthouse sits right next to the Lighthouse Restaurant.
Picture #9 is the first hole on the Turtle Mound course.
Thanks.

I appreciate the positive comments. I have been here since 2011.
Would love to hear from anyone else who lives in The Villages.
