Welcome to Amsterdam - the Dutch capital. With this mod you will experience the entire Amsterdam Canal Belt from above. Take off from Schiphol Airport or any other airport and fly over sights such as the Rijksmuseum, the Anne Frank House or Dam.

In the future the area will be expanded, but editing the water takes a lot of time and I have to split the maps for the high LOD

Installation:
Simply extract the folder "cityAD" to your Community Folder

Known issues:
- some areas might flicker a little depending on the altitude

      Yes it does (in the futere I´ll replace the current lights with warmer ones but the sdk doesn´t offer me those atm

    Nice one, but it needs a bit more work. For example water is not blended well into the default MSFS water. You can Edit the water parts by lower or raise them in your scenery. Use this technique also for blending the borders in the default scenery. Otherwise your scenery will be a big visible square.

      For me, the water is adapted everywhere and if I raise the water any further, the streets will be gone. When I have managed to compress the mod, I will also try to integrate a own Color Grading for less contrast

      Ja, absolut. Ich könnte höchstens normale Bäume drüber setzen aber das würde noch komischer aussehen und leider kann man die großen Flächen nicht als ganzes in Blender importieren. Werde bei den neuen Mods und Updates auf ein eigenes Colourgrading setzen, dann ist zumindest das Grün nicht mehr so intensiv

    Flew it several times. Details are great, colors need some adjustment to blend better with the rest of Amsterdam. (to light.blue/grey) Without I had 25-30 FPS with everthing at ultra. with your scenery around 15-18 FPS. I have no idea if it can be optimized.

      I´m working on optimization ATM and the colour grading will be added in one of the next updates (V. 1.1 for performance and 1.2 for new areas + colours)

    I extracted the zip file in the community folder but the scenery does not load.

      Try to navigate inside the "cityAD" folder to scenery>mycompany and then rename the "modelLib.BGL" to e.g. "ADmodelLib.BGL or AD_modelLib.BGL"

    clearly mentioned in the weak SDK manual.
    Please be sure to change modellib.bgl to something unique for each file, like ZONABS-Modellib.bgl. See, please -

      Also please try to bake the texture files more together to reduce start up time. You have more than 27000 texture files in this package.

      If you can tell me how it works, I'll do it. I know how to compress model texture by texture, but not how to compress all DDS Files at the same time

      Hi! First of all, it is a very beautiful scenery of a great sight seeing city. Thks for doing it. But yes, there is only one LOD for it, so the framerate is under 30 fps on my rig, and i guess the loading time could be reduced using my tools.
