Presenting the A320neo in the colours of Monarch Airlines. This livery featured on Monarch aircraft beginning in 1983 with the delivery of new Boeing 757 aircraft and was a slight revision of the livery that had been in use since 1971 with the wordmark shifting to the fuselage, and the logo moving to the tail. The livery would be in use up until 2002 when it was updated along with an overall branding overhaul.

During this era, the livery featured on both A320 and A321 aircraft, which took the place of their old Boeing 737-300 fleet in the early 1990s, as well as Airbus A300s and A330s, BAC One-Elevens, and the aforementioned 757s.
