Piper PA-44 Seminole - Cleaner and less worn Cockpit (incl. darker Cockpit Panel)

After a particularly nasty landing attempt on my part today, my flight instructor condemned me to clean up the Seminole afterwards.
And I must admit it was badly in need of good scrubbing. Took me hours to see some improvement to all the stains and scuff marks on the seats and side panels. Went over the instruments too and even managed to get the carpet looking a little less filthy. Of course the plane's still 25 years old, so it won't ever look like new again. But have a look for yourselves :-)

This version also comes with the instument panel in a darker grey tone. If you prefer the normal cockpit panel color you can download it here:

Version 2.0
After using the new textures for two weeks I got to the conclusion that I had overdone it the first time. So with this version 2.0 I reintroduced some of the wear and and made the interior a bit older again. In addition I also uploaded the same textures including a slightly darker cockpit panel:

Version 2.1
made some changes to the seat upholstery and cockpit panel

Installation:

Now in case you want to have a cleaner plane without hours of work just follow these instructions.
Carenado aircraft are enycrypted and therefore I haven't found a way to make the installation drag and drop into the Community folder like usual.

1. Locate the installation folder for the plane it should be in the "Official" folder looking like this:

"Official/steam/carenado-aircraft-pa44-seminole"
or
"Official/OneStore/carenado-aircraft-pa44-seminole"

2. navigate to the following folder "../SimObjects/Airplanes/carenado-aircraft-pa44-seminole/TEXTURE.BASE"

3. rename the following files:
APACCS_INT2_ALBD.PNG.DDS
APACCS_INT1_ALBD.PNG.DDS
APACCS_INT2_COMP.PNG.DDS
APACCS_INT3_ALBD.PNG.DDS
APACCS_INT1_COMP.PNG.DDS

4. copy the files provided in this package into the /TEXTURE.BASE folder

Please be aware: In case of an official update to the plane the changed files might be overwritten again, so you may have to reinstall them.

Have fun
Best wishes

Great job with this, I made a request for the Mooney - would love similar "cleaner/less worn" interior like this Seminole.

Great job, thank you very much!
Would it be possible to have the same mode of cleaning for the M20R? If you don't have it purchased, I could @mail you the files you need

It's certainly possible. Didn't do it for myself because for me the Mooney looked ok. Just submit a request and I will see if I can do it over the weekend. :-)

Also please specify in the request whether you'd like the Mooney to look like new, or if there should remain a used vibe to it (like with the Seminole)

Number 3. What do you mean rename those files? Should I copied and saved whatever they were into another folder? What were they anyway? I am new at this.

Hi. Just the files a different suffix, like *.ORI or something. The goal is to keep the original files in case you want to revert back to the original look. If you just copy my files into the TEXTURE folder, the old files would be overwritten and you would have to reinstall the whole plane in order to get the original cockpit files back.
