Aviosuperficie di Solignano is home to Parma Soaring, an organization that promotes sailplane flying. (see reference)
The area is very interesting as racetrack Autodromo di Varano is just a stone throw away, world known Dallara facilities are in the area as well.
The landscape is beautiful as the airfield is just at the foot of the Parco Nazionale dell'Appennino Tosco Emiliano very well known for the landscapes, wine and food.

Getting there is extremely easy with basic VFR skills, all you have to do is follow the A1 highway and turn west when overflying the Taro river. Both the airfield and the racetrack are a few nm away E from the highway/river intersection.

The grass runway is easily manageable and has a length of 2100ft/700mt with a 25mt width. There are some trees of the E side, I suggest taking off from 12 and landing on 30.
