#Real-Life United States Exclusive
Historically significant around the World trip by Ameilia Earhart and Fred Noonan. Using the Beechcraft King Air, you will make 21 stops across the globe. Some historical airports are gone, so I got you as close as I could. The final official stop of the expedition was in Lae, PNG. That airport is gone, so you will land near it in Nadzab. On the way to Honolulu you will pass over Howland Island where she was suppose to stop for refueling before disappearing over the Pacific. Your final destination will be SFO Airport across the Bay from the starting position in Oakland, CA.

You will fly the Beechcraft King Air which mimics her Lockheed Model 10 Electra Twin Prop. Remember to set your plane to unlimited fuel or assign keys for midflight refueling.

I added many historical newsclippings and diary entries during the flight.

Hope you enjoy!

After 20 years of flightsimming (FS2k was my first), this is my first RTW trip.
    Thanks!
((BTW I've changed the plane to DA62, dual piston rather than turbo)

    Hello smwwwin,

I have translated the de-DE.locPak file into German for your German fans.
    Download here: https://www.friendlyflusi.de/index.php?attachment/12330-ear-noon-ger-us-zip/
    or here: https://www.friendlyflusi.de/forum/index.php?thread/1662-in-memoriam-amelia-earhart/&postID=38102#post38102

What I would like to add:
Since every stage begins at the same time, you have to land at night in South America and start at night in Asia. The cloud symbol in the upper menu, which is used to set the weather, date and time, only appears until the simulator is closed. If you restart the simulator, the cloud symbol is gone and you can no longer fly with live weather. The only remedy is to edit the file:
    . \Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\MISSIONS\ACTIVITIES\EAR-NOON_SAVE\EAR-NOON_SAVE\EAR-NOON_SAVE.FLT
    The entry:
    WeatherCanBeLive=True
is always set to "False" by the simulator after the trip has ended.

    Many greetings, Koschi

It's a challenge, however,, the shortest point between two point don't work on a globe.

I found the cause of the display blanking out, a bug in the FS software. I turned off the live air traffic and the displays stayed on. Thanks.

The instrument nav panels on the third leg started going blank after 10 minutes of flight. Flipping the instrument switch on and off did nothing nor did the overhead panel. restarted the leg but it did the same thing. I also when back to main menu, then reopen the leg, the panels were on but after 10 they went blank I'm at a loss, any help will be appreciated, Thanks

Good idea to turn it into a bush trip. I've already done this circumnavigation of the world. Here you can read the story in German.

Thank you! Great thing. Let's just hope we won't miss Howland Island.
By any chance: could you also supply a Lockheed Electra? ;-)
