Just a simple additional weather preset, that will create the lowest possible ceiling and visibility conditions achievable in MSFS (that I've been able to figure out, anyway). Perfect for practicing those CATIII approaches!
Simply unzip, and place the folder "CatIIILowestPossible" in your Community folder. Then, choose the preset "CATIII Lowest Possible" from your weather presets drop-down menu in the sim.
Please tell me how to go down.

Sorry, guess I'm not understanding. Are you saying that if you unzip it and place the unzipped folder in your community folder, it doesn't work? It seems to work when I test it.

What are the conditions specifically? 1/4SM and 100 ft OVC? I don't think we can set a real vis value (at least I've not found a way yet).... and clouds bases in MSFS have been somewhat ragged...you never really get a feeling of "I'm in IMC and then poof, I'm not" I'm still using SU9 though - perhaps 10 improved this?

I don't know the specific conditions because like you say, we can't set an actual visibility value (which infuriates me haha.) I created this preset to just get the lowest weather I could, and it's considerably lower than 100 and 1/4. I'd say visibility varies from 400 - 600 RVR (yes there is still some variability).
Put it this way: I use this preset to practice handflown AIII approaches, with a decision height of 50ft. Sometimes I get in, sometimes I don't. ;)
