In an article published by World Airline News in April 2014, a fourth attempt to reserect the legendery name and brand was annouced.
It wasn't to be.
However, an attractive new livery was mocked up on a B738 in that article. This is a rendetion of what the livery was supposed to be like (with a few creators discretions added!).

I think its time for a section "working on". It would be so good to see if anyone is actually working on something particular, to avoid multiple people doing the same thing. There is this request section on flightsim.to which is awesome, however, I suggest a supplementary section, where people can actually upload their WIP.

This is awesome! This makes me want to fly more in MSFS! Loved the work so much it inspired me to try and recreate it for X-Plane A321.

I used to work for PAN AM back in the 80's (thus my callsign) and I can imgaine the paint scheme today could indeed look like this:-)
do you see a chance to also paint the 787 and even more important the 747 in the exact same scheme???

PACX + Pan Am boarding music and announcements make it even more real.

As I'm not a user of the 787 or 748, I've been kinda staying away from painting them. But I will consider it if someone doesn't get there before me.
Perhaps with the recent updates the 787 will be more attractive to fly? (although I wish they did the shorter version so I'd feel a whole lot better flying my short-medium hauls).

I've seen some other versions out there that do replicate the original, so you should be good!

Nice Livery very well done... I'm gonna fly this while playing "Come Fly with me" by Frank Sinatra on the background.
NightHawk is correct, you're missing manifest.json file. I've already fixed it by copying from other livery on my end easily. But other people might be having trouble with it.

Love the PAN AM livery. My msfs addons linker wont recognize the livery it shows the pan am livery folders but no file. Nor does it appear in msfs. Any suggestions? [Update: Seems to be missing 'manifest.json' file if this is necessary].
