This folder contains a repaint for the Beechcraft D17 Staggerwing for MSFS by Carenado, in the colors of Beech D17 Staggerwing PB1, the personal aircraft of Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, 1942-44. It was built in 1941, with c/n 420 and bought by the government in exile of the Netherlands. It was used by Prince Bernhard to visit Dutch Squadrons and for diplomatic missions. It was destroyed by German Bombs in Antwerp on Jan 1, 1945 during Operation Bodenplatte. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the textures by Carenado.

Is it amazing, this difference between the interior which has survived, marks on the dashboard, and on the windshield pillars, and this completely clean exterior, without scratches or dust ... except the wheels?
I don't put a note huh?

Great as always... But I think there may be RAF roundels on the upper wing in real life. ( https://i0.wp.com/www.aironline.nl/weblog/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/IMG_0409-N18V-DR628-PB1-Beech-D17S-Staggerwing-Midden-Zeeland-15-september-2020.jpg?resize=800%2C534&ssl=1 )

Ah, but that is not the aircraft I painted, that's a modern version. The real aircraft used by PB did not have the roundels on top, and the PB1 markings in black
