NEW:  STOL Drag!!   

Now featuring a timer for STOL Drag.   This will only give you your time, but if there is enough demand, I will work on live race.  You can run side by side in this version by selecting lane 1 or 2, but the timer will start only when you start moving, not based off a synchronized starter.

STOL Drag is a side by side race where the participants must start from a dead stop, take off, land past the far line, come to a complete stop, then turn around, land past the start line, then come to a complete stop.

Can you get the shortest takeoff and landing??   This application and in-game panel will track your take offs and landings at the STOL strip at KXCH, CYSE, or BL01.   It will teleport you to the line, then measure your takeoff, then measure your landing.   There is a leaderboard that will track the best shortest STOLs, your personal best, and the best for your current aircraft.

Installation:

    Unzip the folders into your community folder
    Start MSFS2020
    Start the server in the atp-stol-server directory
    Enter your tag
    Press save
    The server will connect to the Sim
    Press the Test Sound button to make sure you can hear the start tones

    For STOL Drag
    Go to KXCH runway 35 or CYSE
    Open the STOL Drag panel
    Select lane 1 or 2
    Press Start
    Make sure your mouse is not in the panel after you press start 
    Set your brakes and move the throttle to idle
    You will be teleported to the start 
    Keeping your brakes set, pull back fully on the stick to indicate you are ready
    You will hear three low tones, then a high tone, start on the high tone
    Take off  
        Do not cross the center line or you will scratch
    Land past the far line
        You must land after the far line or you will scratch
        Only the main gear must be over the line
        Make sure when you land, your heading is straigh ahead or you will scratch
    Come to a complete stop 
    Turn around and take off
        Do not cross the center line or you will scratch
    Land past the start/finish line
    Come to a complete stop
        The timer stops as soon as you stop with all three wheels on the ground
        
    Your time will be displayed, and if it is your personal best in the aircraft, it will be recorded to the leaderboard

    For STOL 
    Go to KXCH runway 35 or CYSE 
    Open the STOL panel
    Press Start
    Make sure your mouse is not in the panel after you press start 
    Set your brakes and move the throttle to idle
    You will be teleported to the start 
    Take off 
    The distance is from the line to the point where your main gear left the ground
    Climb at least 50 feet
    Circle around and land as close to the line as you can
    You must land after the line or you will scratch
    Only the main gear must be over the line
    Come to a complete stop 
    Hold your stop for two seconds
    Your landing distance is from the line to your main gear
    
    Your distances will be displayed, and if it is your personal best in the aircraft, it will be recorded to the leaderboard

Rules:

    Must have at least 25% fuel in tanks
    Wind must be less than 5 knots for STOL 
        (STOL Drag may have live weather)
    No pushing back from start line
    No slewing

Leaderboard:

    Press the leaderboard button to see the top ten scores 
    You can select best overall, your personal best, and the best for your current aircraft

Troubleshooting:

    When I open the panel, I just get a blank panel
        Make sure the server is running, and that you don't have any other programs using port 4000
    After I press start, MSFS does not take any of my inputs
        Make sure the mouse is not in the panel after you press star
    My aircraft is not  lining up properly on the line
        Make sure you are using a supported aircraft
        Any other aircraft will still be measured and logged, but they will line up the CG to the line, instead of the main gear
