(V1.2)
Livery for the SimWorks Studios Daher Kodiak 100 Series II. Based upon the real-world Kodiak Series III demonstrator, N293KD. Watch the video on N293KD here.
This livery requires the Daher Kodiak 100 Series II addon aircraft, from SimWorks Studios, available for purchase on their website here.
There are two versions of this livery, the "Main File" has N293KD hard painted onto the fuselage. The secondary files with "Customizable Registration" noted in it's name allows you to enter your own registration to be displayed on the fuselage in-sim
Installation
- Extract the file contents, then drag and drop the "livery-zb-kodiak-n93kd" folder directly into your community folder.
** A big thank you to "Ither" from Walker Air Transport. He was instrumental in helping me solve the panel.cfg issues causing the standby instrument and AC panel to not work in the customizable registration variant, I really cannot thank him enough for his help there. I encourage you to take a look at his organization here. **
The Kodiak 100 Series II is a high-wing, single-engine turboprop aircraft, capable of transporting up to 9 passengers or cargo up to a distance of 1,132nm. Equipped with the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-34 engine flat-rated at 750shp, the aircraft is capable of taking off and landing in less than 350ft, enabling it to operate from small, unprepared airstrips all over the world!
Sadly the grey colour is extremly grainy up close.

Hi Thomas,
This is intentional in order to create a "metallic flake" effect on the grey as per the real aircraft. It is hard to see in pictures, but I have been up close with 293KD in real life and it is very metallic paint.

Could we get a full Cargo (empty) variant in the future? Love this livery and thanks for your work

Hi - Great repaint! I'm using the original N293KD version, and I cannot get the cockpit tail number placard to display the callsign. I just see a blank white placard. I've played around with the custom tail number settings in MSFS and the only way I can get it to show up is if I manually input the N293KD tail number into the custom callsign box, but then I get that drawing over the painted numbers on the exterior as well. Any idea how to get this working?

Hi Bburkley,
I have been trying out some solutions on a test livery to remedy this, ideally I will have all of my Kodiak liveries updated within the next 24 hours to allow registrations on the placard, whilst remaining hardpainted on the fuselage. There is a little trick with Microsoft's ARGB system that seems to be working for me.
Thanks,
Zach

Any opportunity for you to do a Caribbean themed livery? I am looking to adopt this Kodiak 100 to my annual January Caribbean Winter getaway trek over the C208 Caravan, but need an appropriate Caribbean themed livery.

I unfortunately had the same issue with my AC display.

Yes, I've narrowed it down to an oversight on my end with the panel file (since I have to include the panel file to give it colored text instead of the stock Asobo black which didn't show up very well against the black fuselage). I am speaking with Alex from SWS to see which files can and cannot be included within that panel file to prevent any EULA issues, as I don't want to break any rules there. Will report back to you guys once we can figure out what the best course of action here is.

Awesome livery, Thank you !!
Just one question, the AC display and Standby Atitude Indicater display seems not to work. Default it is working. But it is a awesome livery

Hmm that is odd, it is working on my end, but I will test it on another computer tomorrow when I have a chance to see if I can replicate it. It may be an issue with using the panel file in order to have a colored registration for the customizable version, as standard it is just black from Asobo, but it is odd that it is working fine on my end
