Here's (another) fictitious livery for the excellent Aerosoft Bombardier CRJ700, this time with it wearing the timeless classic (pre-purple) Flybe livery that we all know, love, and miss so very much!
I hope that you'll enjoy our Flybe airline reborn as it is under the brilliance of MSFS - Enjoy!
PS. The thing that I like most about fabricating fictitious liveries is that painters can get on and imagine, or maybe even re-imagine, how an aircraft might look in the colours of past and/or present airlines - I recognise that it's a deeply contested aerna, but to be fair, it's ultimately a personal choice.
Had thought it was a duplicatiion of https://flightsim.to/file/10721/flybe-aerosoft-crj550-700-fictional-liveries but is actually different enough in detail to be complimentary instead - so now we have two! I miss Flybe too, not least because I'm right near Exeter & it's almost dead now...
Tx for the paint!

Hi,
The excellent Flybe repaint by BritishAvgeek was my first choice, but the lettering of “Flybe” on the tail wasn’t quite as I wanted it to be. In the end, it became my inspiration to start afresh.
i’m pleased that you checked these liveries side by side to determine their uniqueness, though in fairness to the original author, I would first contact them for permission, and second, I would declare any copied elements in my narrative.
The only parts of repaints that I reuse are those of the originally supplied liveries, and in particular, the positioning of any difficult lateral lines and awkward tail alignments - there’s literally no point in reinventing the wheel. Besides, all repaints are based on blank liveries and/or paint kits.
It’s a grey area of IP really, so rather than copy and recolour, using “Magic Tool” (Paint dot net) I follow useful pre-existing markers such as shaded areas as guides in my own work. Thus, the only port over has been “where” & “how”.
Thank you for the compliment, it’s appreciated (and to me, they’re very meaningful).
