This is Alpha YAPH airport in central Queensland about 2.5 NM from the township it is situated between Barcaline and Emerald. it is a small general aviation airport and also used for medical emergencies as well.
I tidied up the default version as it had no apron or taxiway area, so i added parking apron and taxiway, some night lighting a fueling depot. i deleted windsock and put in right area added perimeter fencing, fixed the little road leading into the airport and added runway gables and cones.
I used google earth and some airport images to try and get things as accurate as i can, but i think it's a huge improvement on the default.
Note- I added fuel truck ( If you have the ambitiouspilots-toolbar-pusback plugin you will be able to call fuel truck to refuel plane)
i hope everyone enjoys this and if i have missed anything please let me know.
Dependencies.
Thank you for the great improvements. Very nice work.
Friendly advice: please update the name of the modellib.BGL file to reflect MS/Asobo guidelines to give it a unique name, such as adding the 'ICAO code' to the file: Example (yaph-modellib.BGL) and then update the layout.json file to reflect the new name.
The Problem: MSFS only reads the first file in the Community folder named modellib.BGL and then uses that file for all others with the same name. Renaming it avoids conflicts with any other scenery in the Community folder and gives your scenery the proper appearance with fewer problems. MS/Asobo recommended this in October 2020.
You don't use these 2 below but the same rule applies to them as well.
The same is true for the 'mycompany' folder. Rename this as a unique name. Simply add the ICAO code to the folder name: ICAO-mycompany and update all occurences in the layout.json file.
The same is basically true for the MaterialLibs folder. Rename it and then update all occurences of MaterialLibs in the layout.json file.
