#Real-Life United Kingdom Exclusive Drag and Drop

Welcome to Brighton City Airport formally know as Shoreham Airport. Located in West Sussex. United Kingdom. Home of GA Aviation and accepts Helicopters. Great place to start an adventure along the South coast and many interesting and historic sights. One Paved Runway and three Grass strips

The plan is to do everything. All Hangers and surrounding points of significance and interest.

If your system is old like mine i recommend turning Ai aircraft and airport life to ZERO. All the asobo animations have a huge impact on handcrafted airports for me. Every aimless forklift truck driving along the taxiways is a load in itself. I prefer to just have multiplayer All players activated if i need company. You will still get services when requested like fuel, pushback caddy etc

Helicopter Parking Now designated as Parking Ramp H(Numbers).
ATC taxi to Gate should now work for fixed wing aircraft.
Hangar 7 for fixed wing only drive in if allocated by ATC. Spawn orientation now facing towards door
Hold short taxiway points on K/A/B near paved runway 20 now changed from Normal to Hold Short (No draw) as i am using a custom apron texture for the hold shorts

    All parking points redone.
    Gate H (helicopter) parking areas now linked to taxiways.
    The built in ATC in FS2020 is very very simplistic and theres no way to designate a H parking area to Helicopters only. There also no way to name a parking bay H unless is called a GATE. So ATC may send you to a Helicopter pad no matter which aircraft
    Ai aircraft still not appearing and at the moment are invisible due to the latest SDK. Hopefully this will be correctly in the new sim update 4.0

      Bugs seem to be everywhere at the moment.. I notice that only Ai cars are appearing at the moment, seem to be parked near invisible Ai planes

      Yeah, i just landed on 20 and ATC said turn left at next taxiway. Then Taxi to gate, but no blue diamond guide came up and no taxiway direction. there may be a disconnected taxiway... i will go in and check it out now

      I just found out that Ai aircraft are broken due to SDK 0.12.0. They are there but not showing. I can tell because if you push ai aircraft and GA ground aircraft traffic to 100% the fps drops in half. So that explains the lack of Ai aircraft.

      If ATC parks you at a H Gate. this is a helicopter parking pad, which is not supposed to be linked to taxiways. So no blue diamond will appear. But i have now linked them all up.. see if 2.0.6 version works

    Hi, something nostalgic with "Shoreham" for me. In the 1950s, living in Jersey we would fly to Portsmouth in the DH Dove. The flight would land at Shoreham just for customs facilities and then go on to Portsmouth. The flights from Portsmouth to Jersey were direct.

    Thanks for the airfield, it looks great. Is it possible to have some static aircraft .I have increased the settings, but that makes no difference.

      Hi, in the SDK static aircraft are not working at the moment. I mean when i drag an aircraft like a C152 into the scene nothing shows. Unless you want the simobject type that jump up and down into the ground. They may fix this in the next update. Does not look good with planes popping in and out of the ground,
      but i will includes some in the next update

      Actually, you are right. No Ai traffic are now showing when all sliders are to the right. Thats strange. I wonder if that small asobo update the other days broke that part of things

      I did see one ai aircraft show up in a hanger, but I just don’t think the ai system likes small airports especially freeware airports

    Weathering and worn textures will happen only after all the hangers are done.
    I will probably invest in some blender plugins like ‘PBR layers’

    Great work, love the Advance Heli additions, know the lads there well and did most of my training there.
    Would it be possible to add the inclined area where the second windsock over by Whiskey training area, its used for slope landing training. thanks.

      Inside the hanger photos would be great... That hanger is by no means completed yet in this scenery.. and the slope landing training area... i cant see anything on google telemetry, but that only shows 1m resolution.. searching now on the net..
      So, after googling and google earth i can see
      Whiskey-HTA looks like a race track oval. I'm guessing that has a slope running North-south.. Maybe southward inclination. But at what angle?

      Never used HTA Q, but W is as you say an oval spot in the 02/20 alignment, HTA is at the center not far from the VDF. E is a small circle east of K taxiway.

      the incline of the traingle area by the western windsock is about 3 degrees if memory serves. and is surrounded by small shrubby bushes.
