MysteryBytes - Pula Airport
NOT COMPATIBLE WITH MSFS 2020!!!! ONLY MSFS 2024!
* The newly added ILS for runway 27 in version 1.1 is more accurate then the default one in version 1.0, but unfortunately the MSFS SDK has a known issue that makes deleting the default ILS impossible. Even with ''deleteallILS's'' enabled the old ILS still overrides my custom ILS. The only way to override the default ILS while keeping the same frequenty is to change the ILS identifier. The identifier for the ILS runway 27 is IPU. I changed it to IPU2 so the default ILS isn't prioritized anymore.
In my testing this worked for many aircraft. The FENIX aircraft read IPU and not IPU2 but still followed the custom IPU2 ILS.
Welcome to this new addition of Pula Airport. I've been working hard on this for the past weeks, and it was all worth it. This new Version (V2 REMAKE) is ONLY compatible for MSFS 2024. This version contains a BRAND NEW Terminal building with 10x the detail en accuracy. The building also features a modelled interior of the departure hall and a portion of the visible arrival hall. This addon also improved the terraforming and details on arrival, especially arrivals at RWY 09. All textures are also updated to the MSFS2024 ground textures for way more realism.
I hope you will like this freeware addon more than the old one!

About this scenery:
This scenery is a completely renovated Pula airport. Pula Airport is an airport near the city of Pula, located in the westernmost part of Croatia! (The construction of the airport started in 1954 and was planned as a military base. Later in 1967 the terminal building was opened and the airport was turned into an international airport). This international airport add-on includes: custom buildings, custom apron and much more!
GSX Profile:
This addon does NOT come with a GSX profile. Luckily there are other creators that made a GSX profile.

Routes:
Pula Airport is not a very big international airport and does not have a lot of flights. To get the most out of this addon a really recommend you to fly a personal favorite route:
- Take a Transavia aircraft (B737 or A321) and fly from Rotterdam [EHRD] to Pula [LDPL]. Rotterdam already has a good freeware airport from one of the world updates. Pair it with this addon and hope you arrive at runway 09 for an RNAV approach with city views and fly over the custom modelled highway intersection on final!
Installation:
Download the .zip file and extract it. Put the folder called ''mysterybytes-airport-ldlp-pula'' in your community folder and enjoy!
This file contains :
- Realistic apron with accurate stands.
- Detailed surroundings of the Airport.
- A very accurate NEW Terminal building.
- Custom control tower and fire station.
- Very high Detail landside of the Airport.
- Every Custom object is made with LODs to work with MSFS 2024 LOD selection system and for better performance.
- ILS Antenna's are also custom because the default ones despawn way to early.

I don't often fly GA aircraft and therefor won't be flying much to or from GA airports. If I won't be using it much, then probably I won't be making it. :)

Really happy to know you saw the little spotting area! It's nice to see that the level of detail is appreciated!
I understand that you miss a GSX profile. I never bought GSX because for my simulator life, I don't need it. I remember that the MSFS2020 version of this addon had 2 GSX profiles from different creators. I don't know if they will work for this addon but you can give it a try?

I'm glad you appreciate the level of detail that I have put into this airport scenery. I've only been there twice IRL and decided to make it back in 2023. But now it's fully supported for MSFS2024 with a lot more detail!

At the moment I am not working on another airport. I made this one because I had a lot of free time. So maybe when I have a lot of free time again! :)

Pula Airport REMAKE Version 1.1 - Fixed spelling mistake on the main terminal building, now reading ''Pula Airport'' instead of ''Pula Aiport''. - Fixed incorrect runway elevation. - Fixed the ILS for RWY 27. Unfortunately a new ILS identifier must be used, now IPU2 instead of IPU*. - Fixed incorrect runway touchdown markings for RWY 27. - Taxilines have been improved and do not longer have strange interuptions. - All taxiways and the runway both received new textures to better resemble the real world. - Ugly brown and red grass has been reduced/removed in the surroundings of the airport. - MAX SPAN decal on the main apron now reads 36M instead of 35M, again better resembles the real world (was yet another typo). - A few extra small ajustments to improve overall quality.
