    Description

    This is a livery for the Caravan 208 EX that is based on the Transport Canada Surveillance liveries used on the Twin Otter, such as C-CFSU.

    Installation: Simply unzip and place it into your Community folder.

    The mod seems to be working but under my Profile->Content Manager->Not Installed it shows this mod as not installed. Is this just because it was not done through the marketplace or something? I never noticed this before the latest update but maybe its always been this way and it is nothing to worry about.

    I had issues installing this due to filepath names being too long. Had to rename the top level folder to make it as short as possible and that got it done.

    Hmm that's very odd, your community folder must be very deep. Or perhaps your PC account name has a lot of characters? The pathname error would be an issue with the entire path being too long, not the title of the livery folder. It just so happened that shortening the name brought you back into the path limit. Glad it worked out for you! Perhaps look into path length limitations in windows to better understand this and avoid potential headaches in the future. Cheers!

    This is the standard location that MS uses so I don't think I have any control over that. My account name cannot be much shorter (3 characters). The largest part of the name is the high level folder of your mod "Asobo_208B_GRAND_CARAVAN_EX_CANADIANCOASTGUARDSURVEILLANCE". So that is what I reduced to get it to work.

    Having said that I think I just figured out a way to fix that so that it works with the mod updater. If I modify the ZIP file and reduce that top level as part of your mod I think the mod updater will work and so will MSFS.

    I'm guessing other people ran into this issue as well but maybe renamed the top level just as a way of installing it manually. Who knows.
