This is my first attempt at creating bush trips and was possible thanks to BuffyGC for his excellent BushTripInjector tool without which I would not have known where to start and to Alexander Barthel for the wonderful ‘Little Nav Map’.
There are thirteen short separate trips touring lakes from the south West to the Far North of the UK in the Asobo Xcub Floats airplane. The main goal of the trip is sight seeing, with all settings set to easy (some of these can be changed). There are also icons that show the way to get to the waypoints and final destination. These bush trips are based on FSX flight documents created by Gordon Jock Wilkinson, with his permission.
Each bush trip begins and ends on a lake, so there are 2 fictional simple water runways in each bush trip. These are made visible with airfield lights, you have to land on the right spot to complete the trip. The aircraft must be stationary to end the trip - sometimes it may be necessary to switch off the engine.
If you want the possibility to choose the plane, the weather, the time of day and the season (and some other goodies), then you should take a look at the experimental program - MissionChanger - also created by BuffyGC.
Installation : unzip the bushtrips-uklakes-tour.zip file and put all 13 folders in your community folder.
*********************NEW VERSION*********************
A number of adjustments were made in this new version of the bush trips:
- the creation of additional fictitious water runways so that there are 58 water runways in total.
- adjustments have also been made to the flight plans, so that legs are created in each bush trip. This will require landing on the new water runways.
- some descriptions of the waypoints have been adapted and supplemented.
- there are now six languages available : english - german - french - italian - dutch - spanish. The translations were made with google translate and are not linguistically corrected. They are to be taken for what they are.
- flightbooks in these six languages are included separately.
Installation :
- remove all 13 files from the previous version in your community folder
- unzip the UK Lakes Tour.zip file
- there are 2 folders in the unzipped file : 1) the folder "UK Lakes Tour Bushtrips" with 13 folders in it - put all 13 folders in your community folder - 2) the folder "Flightbooks" with the flightbooks in docx format (this folder may not be put in the community folder).
*********************RECOMPILED VERSION*********************

Very good and interesting set of trips. Lots of luck seeing Lots of Lochs . Didn't see Nessie tho. Not sure why but in some I got credited with 2 landings . In most I touched down fairly smoothly right between the cones .

Hello oldmattila,
the routes that you have chosen are very nice and once to fly from sea to sea something different than the BTs that one usually finds so on FS.to. I had a lot of fun, for that and the effort you made, a big thank you and 5 stars. Also, this is the first BT I've seen from you here. I hope there will be more.
What I write to you now, please do not take as criticism. The tastes here are too different. This is just my, personal and subjective view. First of all, I would say that this would have been a nice coherent trip. The lakes are not so far apart that you couldn't get to them by plane. As a second: You explained some things in great detail, mentioned some things in only one sentence, and some sights that were very close to the route got no mention at all. A little more constant research would be my wish. I'd rather hit the pause button every now and then to read than die stupid. I am very interested in other countries and areas. Another user might say, I want a plane trip, not a reading trip. At this point, you will probably never be able to please everyone. And a third little thing: I am German and there are certainly people from other nationalities who might be interested in your BTs if you translate them into other languages. The BTI offers an excellent tool for this.

Hi Koschi,
Thank you for your nice comments and I'm pleased that you had a lot of fun with the BT.
Your various comments give me an idea of which items can more or less contribute to improving bush trips. They come in handy on a to-do list.
